Gutted that Lewis didn't get pole but what matters is the race! Let's go!

i seriously doubt it but any chance of rain?

my guess Daniel will go from 13th to first during the first lap, will be leading by 5 minutes up until his first pitstop where red bull remove 4 wheels but forget to put 4 on and he will have to retire from the race

vettel will lag behind eventually falling into 12th by lap 15, then get bored and start lighting up the track while pulling rock n roll fingers at the grand stand

Ricciardo will lead into lap 12 when his pit crew will replace his wheels with 4 wheels of cheddar cheese, Dan will struggle to hold place wrestling with the awful degradation of his cheese wheels and eventually fall back to 14th.

lol i can imagine that :]

with all seriousness i think Hamiliton would win, both red bulls will get points and do much better than qali, Kimi will go no where and i am hoping for an exciting race but i doubt it

I can't see anything but an engine failure for Mercedes stopping them getting their 2nd 1-2 this season, will be interesting to see how it pans out if Rosberg or Hamilton is leading into the first corner to see if the team are utilising team orders based on the first corner outcome. I think there will be a decent battle for 3rd, I'm hoping that Bottas gets his maiden podium though, if not Bottas then I see 3rd being taken by Button or Raikkonen. Should be an entertaining race for Red Bull, both cars are somewhat out of position so I expect them to get a decent points haul today.
Team Vettel, Ricciardo, Bottas and Button.

I think on the long runs Hamilton was ever so slightly faster so if they are allowed to race and nico struggles like last time around it could game on. Watched a bit gp2 yesterday and the pole sitter got an awfull start so who knows what might happen.

I hope Hamilton win. Mercedes AMG 1-2 obviously with their engine turned down mid way.

Other podium will be inserting. I do not think Ferrari has to pace but hope to see Kimi. I guess Mclaren, William, Ferrari and RBR should be good fight. Even FI looks good on this track. Hulk only lost to Alonso in the end in Sepang so they have a chance too. Hulk starting behind Alonso along with RBR should be intresting

Today is a huge day in the title fight. Assuming Ferrari and Red Bull are going to catch Mercedes later this year, this is the race where Mercedes need to make hay. I'd like to see a battle between Rosberg and Hamilton, but it'd be smart for them not to get caught up in fighting. That can happen another day.

On Friday, the Force India seemed comfortably second fastest on a long run, so as long as Perez doesn't get a bad start, I think he can finish on the podium. That said, I'd love to see Button make it and I wouldn't mind Bottas making it either.

Kimi seems to be the joker in the pack thanks to his good starts this season, so I wouldn't rule him out. As for RBR, I don't see them making up much ground at all except via undercut at pit stops. They just don't have the straight-line speed to fight.

The worst possible thing to happen to the Merc's today would be their drivers clashing with one another at T1. For the rest of us it might provide some first class entertainment though.

I can't see a Mercedes driver who doesn't lead by the end of lap 1 winning a race for a while. Unless massively quicker.

The Mercedes drivers will take each other out and Räikkönen will win from Bottas and Vettel.

Bottas in with a good shout of a podium as it is going to be a merc powered race.

I hope it stays tight (point wise all year) with the two Mercedes drivers as their fight for the title will be the only real entertainment this season it appears.

Actually removing the Mercs would show a very competitive field in qualifying so if they do take themselves out of the race we would have an awesome fight from P1 to P10 as all of the other teams are within touching distance from each other.

I want the Mercs to build up ~15 second lead over 3rd place then clash, both pick up punctures forcing them into the pits and ~10 seconds behind the now leader. The rest of the race will then be the Mercs blazing through the rest of the pack and by the final lap being 1-2 again.

I know some of you are already signed up to play, but just a reminder that there's only a few hours to go until the deadline for the Bahrain GP on LastManRacing.com

To enter the latest game visit the www.lastmanracing.com Global Games page, join a tournament and select your driver before the deadline!

As for the race, Im expecting (not very surprisingly!) an all Mercedes podium. Who or in what order is anyone's guess...but I'd love to see Jenson and Bottas make the top 3 today. Actually when was last time both Red Bull's started so far down the grid for a race?

Do you prefer a two car race, or a one car race like 2011 and 2013 (and to certain extent 2009, 2010, 2012)?

Edit - Came to think of it, with two cars you actually have a race. But do you actually have that with one?

Might settle for 5Live, but family stuff going on means no chance of a pub, unfortunately.

I've got a quick question having not seen qualy.

Does Ricciardo start on the tyres which he set his quickest Q2 time on or does he get a free choice after being relegated to 13th?

He mentioned saving a set of tyres in post-qualy interviews. Did he mean options?

Nico will lead into turn 1. Lewis's starts haven't been that good. After that. Battle on.

He has to start on the tyres he set his time on, they have just mentioned that on the grid walk
