I usually prefer to watch the BBC coverage. Brundle really annoys me, he just doesn't seem to be aware of the finer points. This weekend, I don't know how long it took him for it to sink in that Perez didn't have a DRS problem (he was just falling out of the 1 second range through sectors 1 and 2).

Does the word context mean anything in your country? So here we go very slow: You can't penalize a breaking mistake that does not lead to a collision or an otherwise danger situation... You can't blame a driver (F1 driver not a Taxi driver) for returning to the track (race track that is) as fast as...

Re: LH's rear brake failure
What's seems to be missing in all this hoopla is that Rosberg actually gave back time in the next sequence of corners - which was essentially part of the next lap since the chicane is the last corner of the lap. (Source: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/114368). Seems like that is the st...

Because they saved all they needed behind the safety car? Nah - the team were telling him to fuel save later in the race too. My guess (and that's all it is - I don't understand the ins and outs of all the new components) is it simply wasn't using as much fuel once they lost power and were driving ...

Re: Unintentional Yellow flags in qualifying should be penal
They won't do the whole adding on a couple of minutes for a yellow flag thing because it'd mean an over run of at least 6 minutes potentially in each show. They run very tight schedules at race meetings as it is without having that thrown in as well. No, it would be 6 minutes at the most. If they d...

A genuine question - would you rather lose the spectacle of seeing a proper shootout, or have the inconvenience of moving to a different channel?

IMO TV is a reason to not do it, support races are not. But even that can be worked out. It's not like the qualifying program stops as soon as Q3 is finished. I don't think the driver in this circumstances should be penalised - but I do think that the stewards should have the option of adding another 2 minutes onto Q3 if there are waved yellows in the last few minutes. Ofcourse it's the FIA that's enforcing it. That's their job. I don't see what the problem is - the FIA clearly had an issue with the positioning since the beginning of this season, but rather than getting rid of it straight away at Australia, they have tried to work with RBR first, and only once a satisfactory solution couldn't be found have they told RBR to ...
