Re: The Official 2012 Spanish Grand Prix thread
Interesting way to check that the rear wheel is done up tight. I wonder if senna was on two stops and was being very careful on tyres. Schumacher with old man reflexes . Damn live timing won't load for me and Chanel 10's ad breaks every two minutes are annoying. How many f1 watchers are going to buy...

Re: The Official Williams F1 thread
Shocker from senna but starting on hard tyres so might be able to work with strategy to get a point or two. Missing out on fp1 doesn't seem to helping.

Re: The Official Pastor Maldonado thread
Anyone notice how nervous he was at the post qualifying interviews. He couldn't stop fidgeting while he was waiting his turn. Big day tomorrow.

Re: Where should Felipe Massa go in 2013?
Why join a midfield team when you are already in one.
I'd say retirement seems most likely or even preferable.
Finding his mojo again before the end of the season would change things a bit.

Oh dear, back to earth. Looks like a strategic retirement at the end.
After a brilliant start why did Bruno go backwards so fast? Did he go off?

Re: Worst decisions in F1?
Not the worst maybe, but Honda leaving F1 must be up there. Must have been tough watching Brawn cruising in the beginning of 2009 for the execs who took the decision! The reality of making such a "gut wrenching" bad decision can lead to chronic symptoms in Japan . Seppuku anyone? (no its not sushi ...

But seriously, isn't the GP having a good affect of bringing world scrutiny to bahrain? The could just run a closed shop and do what they want in quiet.

Re: The Official Williams F1 thread
Is Bottas going to take over Senna's car for FP1 all the time this year or will it be shared with maldonado?
If Senna continue to outscore Maldonado then could this change?
Any one more informed than me?
Cheers

Re: Network TEN Australia
The thing I really don't understand was that here in eastern Victorian chanel 10 was all ready showing a delayed coverage of formula 1 races. Why remove it from their dedicated sports chanel. To rub salt into the wound, chanel one will be showing some stupid old action movie that no one will watch. ...

Re: Network TEN Australia
I wondered what was going on when I checked the tv guide. What a complete backward step. It has been great to have the lap top out with live timing on, with the actual race on the tv at the same time, adds a whole new dimension to the race to see exactly who is doing what, rather than relying on the...

Senna in wet monaco destruction derby, assuming a rampant Massa doesn't get jealous and ram him.
But seriously, it would take a freak race for any of the above, grosjean probably has the equipment to do it, followed by Sauber or Williams in the right conditions.

Re: The Future of Mark Webber
Well I can't see him returning to Australia to drive v8 supercars. Maybe because I can't stand that CAMS promotes the tintop taxis as the peak of Motorsport in Australia. Open wheelers seem to be looked upon as junior training schools for a future of v8 drivers. Any Aussie that goes over seas falls ...

Would be nice if Bruno stopped running into people at start, apart from that he's doing fine. The other brazilian turtle gave him a brake test while avoiding the renault, bit unlucky. Good Result with a damaged wing, can't ask for much more, not sure if old tortoise could of done much better. Still...
