Don't kill the messenger, I know nothing of this driver, but just read a tweet saying
'Susie Wolff, scored 0 points in 5 of 6 seasons in DTM. Husband is an investor in Williams. I wonder which of the 2 things got her the job.'
Is that true?

Re: Bahrain - Everyone involved are PATHETIC!
The fan-base also has its part of responsibility. I'm afraid there's a lot of 'I don't care about the politics of the country it has nothing to do with F1', which in this day and age of twitter, etc. gets to the ears of sponsors and teams, who in turn don't feel like going ahead will hurt their bran...

Re: Why do Prost supporters love Prost?
Prost was my favourite driver in that period of F1. Lauda had been my first favourite before him. To me, and I was only young, Senna seemed faster over one lap (i.e. qualifying) but Prost was the better strategist, the guy using his brain more rather than all out raw speed. Obviously these things ar...

Put it this way, I'm not paying extra for the Sky F1 HD channel, and I would still want F1 back on the BBC. Ideally I would want a holographic matrix that transports my mind to a 3d environment that I can fly around and watch the race from any angle I choose. However, that is not an option and is n...

I wont be watching it, and I know its just my grain of sand in a desert. It should be the teams and their sponsors boycotting the GP to be honest. It doesn't say much for any of them that they are prepared to go ahead with it.

These threads are always going to be clouded by fanboyism unfortunately. There are two drivers on the grid right now who I reckon are above the rest. They rise to the top at the minimum chance they are given, and even in inferior cars they have managed to be on the podium or even win. Those are Hami...

Once again Hamilton had the edge over Button in qualy, however, judging by his lockups in the last turn, was this at the expense of taking more from the tyres, which is fine to produce the faster qualy lap but is not sustainable for every lap of the race. I'm definitely looking forward to the answer...

I find it funny how since the ban of the Blown Diffuser Webber has out qualified Vettel both times. This sort of shows me Vettel gained the most of the extra downforce through the corners. Drivers like Hamilton, Button, Webber and more can handle the car a lot better with it. Which is what a lot of...

The European GP is just a 'joker' GP that allows Bernie to hold more than one GP at the country that is more convenient at the time, for example by popularity of F1 in that country at the time. In the Schumacher era, Germany, and as Alonso emerged and Spain went F1 crazy and authorities became willi...

German media just reported that Sutil will be the 1st candidate for Massa seat. Sepang will have the same top 5 cars but in a different order, prompting a whole new set of premature conclusions about who is the best, and a whole lot of 'told you so' saying Button is not that great.
