Re: Ukraine

I believe a lot of current/former Kremlin inhabitants have property in the Black Sea area. I don't know if any are in Crimea but It wouldn't surprise me. Given the anti Russian sentiment in a large part of Ukraine it's possible that they feel they are protecting their own interests as well as suppor...

Inappropriate post removed. Do you really want to go down the 'unnatural' debate. I can find a a load of scientific studies about homosexuality in other species. I get why Lotus apologised. They have sponsors to think of etc but I think they are deliberately aiming for the best of both worlds by ma...

Alien, you actually found all the feathers in AC2? Why do developers think BS collectables like that 500 feathers would be fun? It depends on the game for me. If I really enjoy a game I do tend to do the collectibles as well even though they are such BS sometimes. I got 100% in GTA San Andreas and ...

Re: Testing should be at circuits not on the calendar - disc

If it's just a case of keeping it fair then I don't see the problem. All teams are invited to all tests therefore you have one race where everyone knows what set up they're going to use. I also suspect cost is involved. If it's because you want to see the cars at a specific race track then as long a...

As someone who supports customers of a large retail chain with their new windows 8 machines I can honestly say that the complaints about windows 8 mostly come in two categories. Re: Did Vettel and Webber have an identical Clutch Package

The idea that a team would deliberately sabotage a drivers setup is among the most ridiculous there is in racing. Race teams get paid by Bernie based on how many points they score. And it's not just petty cash amounts either. It's millions of dollars up for grabs. To deliberately slow down a driver ...

The lack of proper coverage is the reason numbers have dropped in the UK, if you haven't got a Sky subscription then you're stuck with leftovers. Damon Hill said in an interview that he was a risk taker at heart. The example he used was that he wouldn't enjoy a game of poker for a couple of hundred pounds stake but if you put his life savings on the line that would be fun. I don't think comparisons of choice of road car count. Colin McRae dro...

It strikes me that if this were possible to bring someone out of a coma with medication then they would do so. Obviously cases where someone has bee put in to a medically induced coma notwithstanding)

I think this is a case of not letting the truth get in the way of a good story.

If it were up to me I would go for grid order whoever started behind the other would take it i.e. Vettel starts on pole Raikkonen starts on third. They cross the line in a way that even the photo finish cant sort out. Raikkonen takes it because he has covered a greater distance in the race time.

The issue you raise with Hinkley point is purely economic not safety. In a similar situation I would hope a coal or gas fired plant or a wind farm would have the same questions raised. Fukushima is a pretty much a worst case scenario in modern times. The coast of Japan moved 8 feet and the entire pl...

Yes, but that money spent on reduction is being used to stop major spending when global warming does have a big impact, when cities will be flooded, more areas being a victim of desertification, leading to more droughts and famines and so on. My point is that it simply isn't working. http://en.wiki...
