From what I recall, Spec accepts predictions for the next race at any time. There were even a few occasions where people predicted two races at once because they were going on holiday or whatever, and knew they wouldn't be able to predict otherwise.

I'd much rather lose an extra lap behind the safety car in order to get the lapped cars out the way, than go racing a lap sooner but have potential overtaking action lost due to slower cars being in the way. I always found it frustrating when the safety car pulled in and you had the leader, followed...

If the rules are the same as last year, Gothnak , then you only score points if the driver finishes in the top 10. So whether Rosberg/Maldonado are classed as finishers (they both were) isn't what matters. Since others aren't waiting for Spec to tot the scores up: 1] Vettel 2] Hamilton 3] Button 4] ...

Is his Ferrari career done? Surely, after this year, it will be. Unless Alonso really puts his foot down and demands they keep him around so he doesn't have to worry about any challenge to his status as #1 within the team, you just can't see them retaining him. Is his F1 career done? No. Coming back...

Unless they turn up at Melbourne with some significant developments, bolt them on the car and immediately go quick, it's hard to imagine they'll be anything better than the third fastest car.
