Re: Red Bull Budget Cap Groundhog Day Thread
Ok, thank you both for your replies, I haven't seen anything either. This whole saga possibly brought this item in the open for the rest of the teams Out of interest, do you have any accounting background? There is absolutely no way that teams would not pick up on any tax credit, rebate or subsidy ...

All made redundant by a Mod posting this instead of ATH doing a runner. Despicable. While ATH was without question a pillar of our community, he left the forum some months back in protest over some particularly unhinged argument someone got into with him. I suppose no other users came forward to ma...

Re: Michael Masi. 1 Year on.
Mercedes weren’t looking for discipline, they were looking for changing the race result. Once they realised this couldn’t be achieved they backed off. I appreciate that, it's just that the post I replied to mentioned that the FIA themselves would be adjudicating the appeal, and to me it made it sou...

Re: Michael Masi. 1 Year on.
Masi a FIA employee made his interpretation of the SC rules which was then backed up by the FIA stewards. If Mercedes were to appeal it would be the FIA who would be adjudicating. It was pretty clear they weren’t going to get the result overturned so for the good of the sport they left it alone. It...

For someone to dismiss Senna, Prost, Schumacher & Hamilton as "so called greats", while simultaneously refusing to entertain even the slightest hint that Verstappen might just not be the F1 messiah you think he is, & who maybe didn't just have the greatest season by any driver ever, demonstrates to...

Let’s face it, Hamilton only became super successful when he joined Mercedes. Hardly the same career trajectory as what made Schumacher an all time great. Or maybe they didn’t appeal the decision for the good of the sport? Of course! Why didn't I think of that? That must be the reason why Mercedes said they were going to hold the FIA to account. Exactly. So we know for an absolute fact that Red Bull DID make a mistake in their cost cap submission that wasn't to their advantage. I think Masi's removal had everything to do with public outcry and with the pressure put on its president to act, rather than an actual wrongdoing on the part of Masi. This article mentions that but it also says the FIA conceded there was human error. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/motorsports/mic...

Yes I read what you posted but your pole specifically ask's " Is Verstappen’s 2023 the best season ever from any driver? . A pretty specific question I would have thought. The last thing is exactly what RB could do this season - run more downforce and still be quicker on the straights, especially with their super-DRS. Best season i've ever seen remains Senna 93 by a mile. Best season in a dominant car - Senna 88. I think Alonso 2012 was the best season by any driver that I have ever seen since the late 70s / early 80s. I think he was also aggrieved by Prost deliberately taking him out at the same race a year earlier and then the FIA's corrupt actions that day.
