I generally don't have much time left now that we have to work from home, it is so weird! On a slightly different note, how many of you working from home during all of this are finding that actually, you're working far more hours than you normally would in the office? I'm another one that would put Mansell right up there with the best of the overtakers. I started watching F1 in 1985 and was stood in the crowd at Stowe when our Nige overtook Piquet in 1987. It's a moment I will never forget. He's another driver that could usually adapt his driving style to suit th...

Sir Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer has said in one of the press conferences that people in the high-risk category (ie over 70 and under 70 with underlying health conditions) are at a higher risk of suffering from a more serious infection of COVID-19, but that doesn't mean they will and some of ...

Apologies if I said/typed something I shouldn't have - but in my defence I guess whilst taking advantage of a free trial for this reason may not really be within the spirit of the law, it's not technically illegal ;) (sounds a bit F1 that doesn't it  ) a Moot point anyway if indeed the free tri...

The testing costs could be cut down if similar to Abu Dhabi in-season testing the extra testing days are just an additional day during the GP weekend - either a Thursday (before) or Monday (after) for example. I think the Thursday before would be interesting because the smaller teams would be much ...

What's funny is that the FIA closed this loophole in the 2021 regulations five months ago. The 2021 regulations have been amended to make this illegal, which has the effect of saying it's legal for 2020. There is a whole discussion on Reddit about it but I'm on my phone so can't relay the specifics...

I must admit, I don't find either Mercedes OR Hamilton's continued success frustrating (even with me being a Williams supporter from way back in the 1980s). I've never had a problem with the same team/driver winning AS LONG AS THE RACING IS GOOD!! If you're too good for everyone else, then they need...

This is even worse than Bernie's sprinkler idea (and I thought that was stupid......). Re: Renault Team quitting F1 after 2019?
Renault F1 are apparently investing big in 2021, to the detriment of their 2020 car. If next year is a stinker, then Renault could pull the plug on the operation, selling it to Pat Fry for a $1 and Ricciardo wins the championship in a FryF1 car, narrowly beating Max Verstappen who goes on to win 4 ...

I think we could actually race to time rather than laps. It would add an extra dimension to strategy. I'm not saying it should necessarily be 2 hours but a timed race rather than a known number of laps could throw up variables. This I actually quite like. I agree it could throw all sorts of variabl...
