Re: 2022 Canadian Grand Prix Race Thread
Very close race like Saudi. SC definitely helped Ferrari. But after the pitstop they were on par with each other. Had Max had a lock up Sainz would have got him for sure. Mercedes also only 7secs off RBR after SC. So only 0.3-0.4sec per lap slower which is much better than qualifying.

Re: 2022 Canadian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
Alonso has been great so far. Sainz would have been P4 again if Charles and Perez were in Q3. He is trying too hard. He did the same in Baku as well. Also good confidence boost for Hamilton. He is usually very strong here so I think it would have been a big blow to him to start behind Russell. Haas ...

I do not think Alonso is going to play any part unless Max and Alonso have contact lol. Max will lead the race if not in few corners in few laps for sure. If it is wet then may be it will difficult for everyone with no DRS and wet track outside the racing line. I hope it is dry Charles, Perez should...

Re: Is Hamilton's plant based diet causing his back problems?
lol it has nothing to do with diet. Moreover plant based is probably more healthy. May be F1 drivers need to have special workout for their back as well. His personal trainer probably know but pretty sure diet has nothing to do with it.

Ferrari in qualifying and RBR in the race IMO. Perez after gaining some 2 secs was unable to extend the lead. IMO had Max been there he would ran away with it but I guess we will never know.
In Monaco Ferrari was definitely faster in both qualifying and race eve though they lost points there as well.

Max, Gasly and Vettel. I would have voted Vettel first but he made a silly mistake otherwise his pace was impressive. Without that mistake I think he would won DOTD in F1 app as well. I noticed that car performance does not matter. Who has most overtakes is likely to get most votes.

Re: 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix Race Thread
It was little boring race by Baku standard. Perez had great start but Max was easily the fastest driver today. I would like to know where Charles and Sainz would have finished and the differences. IMO Sainz was falling behind very quickly compared to top3. I think he was 4secs off before retiring. C...

The top 2 teams are in a class of their own. More than 1sec different to the next car 8O . Sainz is trying too hard IMO, Charles seems pretty much invincible in qualifying. Perez is the biggest improvement. He was even getting beat by Gasly in AT in many races and especially first 10-15races was no upgrade to Gasly. This year he is pretty even and is probably getting more out of the car in qualifying.

Since the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, Horner has become so neutral. I did not vote but it has to be Spain 2022. In Brazil he was overtaking cars as if they did not exist. RBR were complaining that Hamilton rear wing was not legal. He had massive car advantage there.

Max, Hamilton and Alonso. I think Yuki also had good race. Alpine was pretty good in race.
Max in spite of getting stuck behind Russell still ended up 32secs in front. But I think Charles would have won the race without DNF. Mercedes had strong performance nevertheless with overheating issues.

Enjoyed the sprint race. I thought it was going to be a progression after the start. I think the DRS work better on these cars and since following is much easier it is worth watching.
