Re: F1 Gossip/Rumour/Inside news Thread

Couldn't they use the Q1 results as the starting order of the sprint? That way they could still have two practice sessions.

Friday: FP1, FP2
Saturday: Qualifying, sprint shootout
Sunday: GP

Re: Hamilton vs Leclerc

I have always felt Leclerc is a bit overrated and wouldn't count out Lewis on either Saturdays or Sundays, of course it's hard to estimate how long it will take for him to adapt to the new car.
Voted Equal on Sat and Sun but early in the season Leclerc should have the advantage.

When Hamilton joined Mercedes in 2013 many thought it was a bad move. I wonder if Hamilton has seen something we haven't or he has the confidence to turn things around. He's even getting some folks from Mercedes to Ferrari to help Ferrari reach the summit. Newey to Ferrari, you heard it here first.

The money talk is pointless because we have know idea if Hamilton is being paid a billion dollars a year or if he's driving for a chocolate hob knob and a happy ending from Fred.

Anyone reporting anything on the subject is doing nothing but total guess work.

Alonso gobbled up Massa and Räikkönen without any trouble and quite honestly Vettel was far from an improvement as his successor at Ferrari. Hamilton lost out to Button and 2022 was also not great, all champions have had a few seasons hardly worth remembering. Edit: grammar. Massa who got beat by B...

Ironic thing was Leclerc had to think of a strategy to help Ferrari get P2 in the WCC instead of the pit wall. Had he seen this masterclass from '21, he could've done something more or better.
