Judging by the race pace I noticed on livetiming for Lotus, I would have to say them. Though at Malaysia Mercedes will qualify high with their "super drs" so in that respect they could easily have it.

Great race by Kimi. If only he qualified up front I cant help but feel he could have had a podium. I was watching his laptimes throughout and there was stages when he was faster than the leaders!

The fantastic reasoning is that both Merc drivers made mistakes on hot laps in Q3. Schumi was only 0.1sec down on pole before his error....and ended up 4th. But if Hamilton or Button was in that Lotus surely they would of gone faster than Roman... Not sure how you come to tha. Romain isnt no slauch...
