Re: Attending a GP
Could any of you lovely forumers recommend a good place to buy tickets? Is there a 'go to' vendor or should I just take my chances googling? It's been a few years since I've been to a GP so am out of touch with what's hot and what's not. Is it worth waiting for last minute deals? (I noticed there we...

Re: UK F1 coverage 2019 and onwards
I thought it was a disaster when the sky deal was announced but things move on and I really like the C4 coverage. Not being able to watch live has been a surprisingly easy transition. I thought I would miss Brundle (or at least the DC/Brundle team), but turns out I don’t. For me weekend afternoons a...

Re: Attending a GP
Further to JimmyJ's post above does anyone have advice on best place to buy tickets these days? (I've not been to a GP for years).
I saw some decent late deals last year - does anyone wait to take advantage of late deals?

I’ve watched religiously for 30+ years and for me the James Allen/Martin Brundle and then Coulthard/Brundle pairing stand out as being ahead of anything that came before or indeed after.
But then again I’m also one of the few that think ITV did a great job.

Currently I'm excited about the younger drivers, so Norris, Leclerc and Verstappen in particular.
I'm also looking forward to to seeing how Ocon and Russell pan out.

Read somewhere Steiner is furious with both drivers, especially Grosjean. So much so, he even called Gene Haas after the British Grand Prix for permission to terminate Grosjean's services from the team as soon as possible. The one touted to replace him as soon as German GP is Esteban Ocon. No doubt...

To be honest I've been sooo bored with the new intake for a few years (apart from Verstappen) but am definitely warming to some this year - some great new drivers (who also have a bit of character about them, which is massively important IMO) - I'm not tribal so am happy that I have new guys to chee...

Don’t know if anyone else finds this, but my viewing habits have completely changed over the past few years, where almost everything I want to watch is at my convenience on catch-up. I doubt his biggest fans would expect him to beat Hamilton, if he could finish the year next to Hamilton in the standings that would count as a great result – even that feels a bit of a long shot.

I’ve gone from watching and reading as much about F1 as I could plus attending one or two races to currently watching parts of the highlights (and looking at this forum a couple of times a week). I still very much enjoy F1 but I’ve lost all emotional attachment to it and it just doesn’t excite me th...

Sadly I don’t feel much emotional attachment to any drivers any more. Oddly enough (going against the grain apparently) I find myself cheeri...

I have a real soft spot for the era that Jackie Steward raced. Although I wasn’t around then I do love watching the old documentaries. To me it just epitomises the emotional side of F1 from the glitz and glamour, the talent, the derring-do to the camaraderie, the garage based privateers, and obvious...

I seem to be in the minority as I’m reasonably happy with this. Yes it seems vague, but this is pretty much what Brawn has been talking about since his appointment.
