Re: 2016 season to start in April
A small tidbit - if this does go ahead - and local news saying it will - then daylight savings ends on the raceday so practice and qualifying is on daylight savings time - and race is on Oz eastern standard time. That is correct. Initially I thought this might indicate a night race but now it seems...

I love them. I can't see how anybody thinks they detract from the race.
And the reaction I have seen on twitter from F1 journos, teams and photographers seems overwhelmingly positive.

You realize that BAR actually became Honda for a while? Also, I was talking about the engines. Anyway, that doesn't change the fact that the current program is a disaster. So far 18% of us were too optimistic. But it was close yesterday - one more retirement would have done it for Alonso, Ricciardo just made it to the end, that would have done it!.

A lot of Massa's DNF in 2014 were not his fault. He got punted off at Melbourne by Kobayashi. Perez moved across in Canada. I don't know if he could have avoided Silverstone. Had a 50/50 collision with Magnussen in Germany. He could have had a podium, or at least a top 5 finish in all races mention...

Raikkonen without a doubt.
In a good car, I feel like both could run from the front in clean air, perhaps with Rosberg slightly the faster of the two, but Kimi would be better fighting through the pack if necessary, and would be better at defending his position.

They did re-sign Rosberg, but you have no idea what that reason was. I enjoy watching WEC, but I struggle to stay with it for 6 hours - On Sunday I just dipped in and out of it here and there.
Also, I'm not a massive fan of multi-series races - the difference between the LMP cars and the GTE cars basically means the latter are just rolling road blocks.
