McLaren aren't going to jump through hoops to see Number 1 on a Silver Arrows next year. This makes sense to me. Why should they support him now? All depends on how tight his deal is with Ferrari. I can't see any of them having a driver through a young drivers program and not have them wrapped up tight so they can't be poached. Would be a bit silly business wise to put all that funding and effort in just to let someone else reap the rewards....
