Re: Rush - Ron Howard's Formula 1 movie

How are they going to film the Terrace straight at Crystal Palace? It's wildly different scenery there now, and photoshopping out the radio controlled car track in the paddock is going to be very difficult. I work in visual effects and it's going to be a big job. I'll bet they establish the scene o...

I think sky did a better build up show this week, they seem to have listened to any feedback and taken it on board, so well done Sky for that. The interviews, however, still weren't that good, they need to learn what questions are relevant. The post race programming still not that good, although I ...

a driver could be a the pit entrance and come on the radio to say 'I'm boxing, get me some options' and the crew would be ready for him before he reaches his pit box. He may get a big telling off after the race and that's when mistakes are made, but he could still do it.

Well Prost aparantly had a clause in this Williams contract regarding Senna, but it was put to one side thanks to the sponsors. Mansel had a number1 contract at Ferrari, until Prost (I think) came onboard and it pushed to one side. So even if he does have a clause in his contract, it can be over rul...

Back onto Sepang tomorrow, Schi is a great starter and he's not been that high up the grid since his comeback. With the Merc being strongest in the first stint last weekend, I'm expecting at least a 3 way fight for the first corner and a really exciting start to the race. Can't wait :]

Re: Should we really go to Bahrain?

I think that politically we should not go there because of their practices, but I think that as a event it is fine, because the track is great. Also F1 is a global sport, and when they visit instead of the drivers having to do sponsor events, they should be excused and should bring awareness to the...

Sorry, not on topic..... Lynard Skynard, couple of things: 1 - if you have no decent arguments to put forward to prove your point, then there's not much point in keeping on with it. 2 - if not one person is agreeing with you, you may be wrong. 3 - if you do not take any counter arguments, or opinion...

The thing with HRT imo, is they had a rough first year, then messed up the start of last year (beat Virgin both years, although people often forget that when belittling them) and then had a huge management overhaul, moved premises, lost an experienced principal (with all his equipment) and near enou...

For me, I support a main driver and the team that he's in. So in my eyes, both are important. If my driver doesn't win the WDC but the team wins the WCC then great, he's helped the team to win in so either is a win for me.
