Good call by Ferrari then, they finished as high as they could? On the other hand, Alonso would most probably have finished in exactly the same position if he had been on the standard strategy. Possibly but by taking the chance they opened up another strategy. But how does starting on the hard tyre...

Much too lenient, if that is true. Teams will stretch risks at pitstops (and Red Bull is leading this approach) until someone dies. This penalty does not set incentives to take more caution.

The poor guy was massively injured and Red Bull is a repeat offender in terms of letting cars go without the wheels properly fitted. Some punishments is due, IMO. They take too much risks in order to be quicker and quicker in doing the stops. This was the closest of someone getting killed during a F...

Well, the tyres were cut, most probably due to a specific curb (so it was always and only the left rear tyre). What does that imply? - first of all, curbs should not cut into tyres - second, high or low degrading, even hard or soft tyre is not related to the tyres getting dangerously cut - too low t...

Who would you put your money on for the title? Rubens in a 2004 Ferrari Button and Schumacher in 2004 BARs. I think Schumacher wins that title quite easily considering how many times Button managed to beat Rubens. Title goes to Barrichello ( if we assume there's no one in the other Ferrari ). Micha...

IMO, the top scandal were the attempts to circumvent the prohibition of skirts in the early 80s with really dangerous systems that actually killed some drivers. Among the most active cheaters of those times was Bernie Ecclestone and his assistants (Charlie Whiting, Max Mosley, Herbie Blash, ...).
