Re: Williams- Paying too heavy a price for being paid?

I totally agree with you. I don't think any amount of money Williams paid Alonso/Vettel would lure them to drive for them prior to yesterday. I just feel Sutil would have bought in the money as well as some experience. Plus, at least at this stage, it's safe to say that Adrian would be better than a...

Williams- Paying too heavy a price for being paid?

Now, I know it's just been one race and it's too early to decide who's really fast and who's not but I don't think that Maldanado's charge on Alonso yesterday in Australia for a top five finish was a flash in the pan as far as Williams' pace is concerned. If Williams have made a step, which I think ...

Re: Team and driver rating

Welcome to the forum. I just wanted to understand if the ratings are based on current form? Or is it a medium term duration? Or a career span? Frankly, I can't understand how Raikkonen gets a 3 star rating and Button gets a 2 star? If it's about careers, then he and Button have almost the same achie...

Re: Rosberg - forever 7th

It's amazing how much rubbish can be written about a driver. Rosberg just got a bit excited about having a top car capable of challenging for pole and in the process pushed a little too hard. I think he's a better qualifier than Schumacher and he should be leading the Mercedes charge in quali as ea...

Re: Could Alonso want Kimi's seat again?

Once I saw Romain go 3rd and saw what a mess that Ferrari is Alonso must be thinking.. "I left Renault(Lotus) for this?" The irony is it was Kimi he pushed out of Ferrari to get that seat and now Kimi comes back into the sport and the Lotus is fastest it has been in 6 years. Now, I've been on this ...

Re: Ferrari are just bluffing???

Personally, I'm deriving so much pleasure and satisfaction from the misery Ferrari are in. LDM, replaced a brilliant team of people who created a legacy for the team. Look where the replacements have got them. i just feel sorry for FA. A brilliant driver, driving for a team with the most amazing his...

Re: The Official Mercedes AMG F1 W03 thread

I think Mercedes-Benz have done a solid job over the winter. They have made a step. But, we as fans should be a bit cautious. Their 'step' seems to be down a lot to the use of the DRS. They won't have that edge in race trim. I'm optimistic it won't. But i'm not getting overly excited.
