Re: Who do you WANT to win in Italy?
Cars that do well at Spa usually go on to do well in Monza - 2011, 2010 (if not for going in the wrong direction, setup wise, Hamilton might have got pole - Button showed the car's potential), 2009 (Sutil in the FI right up there)... So I imagine it will be Hamilton. But I reeeeeally want Raikkonen...

Re: Who do you WANT to win in Italy?
Ideally I'd like to see Hamilton win with Koba and Hulk on the podium, Button somewhere else complaining about having no grip, Vettel telling his engineers to "do something" and Pic to pull off a blinding move around the outside of Glock in the Parabolica. Alonso and Webber to have an epic duel some...

Re: Who would win out of Webber and Button in the same car?
I get the feeling Webber has a slight edge in driving around problems. But then, last year sort of proved otherwise. Its very close I'd say. His problem would be putting pressure on himself.

Re: Hulkenberg and Sutil in the running to replace Massa?
The reason why I believe Hulk has an even chance is because he is performing quite well in the recent races & am sure, he will get better. Because of Hamilton, Schumacher & Massa, a few deserving drivers have a real shot to be a part of the big teams. Musical chairs are going to be at their best. L...

Re: Hulkenberg and Sutil in the running to replace Massa?
Maybe not relevant to this topic per se, but with Hamilton supposedly on the move to Mercedes, I'd love to see Hulkenberg go to McLaren! Though I imagine Di Resta would get the nod first sadly. Seems both Di Resta & Hulkenberg have an equal shot. Hopefully. Obviously my preference would be Hulk, bu...

Re: Williams should hire Hamilton.
I would love this much more than the supposed Mercedes switch. Hamilton in a Williams is my dream combo... but I can't see it happening due to Williams' budget. As much as the two parties might respect one another and/or want it to happen, I can't see it happening.

Re: Who do you WANT to win in Italy?
Voted Hamilton, Hulkenberg and Kobayashi, simply because they're my favourites.
Was tempted to go for Pic, just to see the bitter look on misery-Glock's face afterwards! I know, I know... its mean.
D'Ambrosio would be brilliant too!
Just not Kimi or Vettel.

Re: Teammate relationships
I have no idea how Perez and Kobayashi get on. I like to imagine that, outside the team, they don masked costumes and fight crime together as brothers. This has made my day! If only Sauber had the resources to emulate McLaren's Tooned series... I would happily watch the Perez Koba crime-fighting an...

Paragraph 16.3 of the FIA 2012 F1 Sporting Regulations states (inter alia): The stewards may impose any one of the penalties below on any driver involved in an Incident: e) A drop of any number of grid positions at the driver’s next Event . g) Suspension from the driver’s next Event . Re: Teammate relationships
To be honest I imagine a lot of drivers will have business only relationships. Most "friends" seem to come from different teams (Alonso & Webber, Vettel & Kimi), so I imagine the whole stress of having to beat your team mate would just put a strain on a friendship, so they prefer to keep it business...

Re: Hamilton. Luck defecient.
As much as Grosjean was 200% in the wrong at Spa, I wouldn't say Hamilton was merely unlucky. Put 20 different drivers in the same spot as Hamilton at Spa, perhaps half of them would've backed off in time to avoid the accident. Hamilton does still have a tendency not to yield where it would have pe...

Re: The most entertaining F1 driver
The most entertaining for me? Hamilton... as someone said, if he's on a roll, he's nigh-unstoppable... but then there's always the fear that he won't finish the next race. For me, just before the race I always have a thought that Hamilton won't make it to the flag, and when I see him carving through...

Re: Can teams sitout drivers with penalties?
The thing is, Maldonado is such a good qualifier that even with penalties, he tends to start ahead of his team mate... I know we're not just talking about Maldonado, but its hard to justify swapping a driver just because he has penalties levied against him if he's an excellent qualifier. Afterall, i...

Hulkenberg is fast becoming one of my favourites. He was the first driver I ever met got an autograph from (Australia 2010) and have been a keen fan since. Re: Hulkenberg and Sutil in the running to replace Massa?
Sutil won't get it, I can't see any reason to go for him. He was fairly consistent, but fairly average as well. Hulkenberg... he's shown flairs of promise (need I mention Sau Paulo?) and has been steadily improving through the season. He'd be good at Ferrari, though I'm a biased Hulkenberg fan :) H...

He has been too long at McLaren, they have a bad influence on anyone I don't think McLaren are too bad an influence on their drivers at all. If anything they've been a very stable platform for him. I agree with a previous poster that his management needs to be changed. Preferably, he'd get his dad ...

I think Jerome will do a respectable job. To be fair, as long as he doesn't show a penchant for first lap crashes, it'll be a good start! I would absolutely love it if for some inexplicable reason he got the first Lotus win. What a stand-in drive that would be!

Re: Is Lewis not very smart?
I don't think Lewis is "not very smart" by any means, I think he's just over-reactive when things don't go his way. He can be very smart I believe, he just takes bad times worse than others. I can be the same, reacting badly to bad news/happenings, so I can kind of relate. But tweeting telemetry/sen...

Re: Worried about Vettel
As much as I usually try to downplay Vettel's results to "having a good car" or "being lucky", I have to admit that he had a cracking race in Belgium, some of the best moves I've seen all season. If he keeps that up, he'll be well on his way to a brilliant WDC, and honestly, legendary status in the ...

Personally I would love to see Lewis in a Williams. Partly because it'd be my fave driver driving a car with my surname on it! But also I'd like to see him take the risk of driving a car that isn't automatically going to be a 'front runner' each year, to see how he performs. Like Alonso going back t...
