I like what I've seen from the new cars. It was clear from the very first lap that following is much easier. Bahrain has always been decent for wheel to wheel racing due to the slow corners and long back to back straights, but it was clear they could follow much better through the long fast corners....

While clearly slower, it doesn't look as awful in the slow speed corners as they have at times. It also doesn't look like he's really hustling the car so hopefully they will look even faster next week.

Looks like we're starting to see some more performance. Verstappen goes almost half a second quicker than the previous best time of the test, on the medium tyres.
