It will be interesting to see what happens at the first corner. If more than two cars go wide, and each is expected to navigate that silly bollard/marker, there could be real carnage.
I'm hoping for some decent battles up front.

Always confuses me why the gearboxes have to last for consecutive races, where the engines have to last for a given number of races, consecutive or not.

This is... stupid? Great laps that don't count, drivers not going out because they won't set their lap in time... Moving one position back means having to leave 90 seconds earlier. This sounds so difficult to manage.
Can I have the old qualifying that had nothing wrong with it back please?

Speaking at the launch of Channel 4’s Formula 1 coverage, 13-time Grand Prix winner Coulthard said such distractions could allow Hamilton’s Mercedes team-mate, Nico Rosberg, to start where he left off last season – when the German won the final three races – and gain the upper hand in 2016. ‘Nico h...

It would make even more sense to do what Bridgestone did and put a banding on the softer tyre available at a given event, and no banding on the harder tyre. Those of us who want to know which of the four/five compounds have been brought to a given race will already know, and those who don't care wil...

I would have to disagree with all of that. Lewis and Alonso have never out driven a car in their lives - I don't even know what that means. Screw tradition and, to an extent, screw location. If a track produces good racing then it should be considered as deserving of a place on the calendar. I'd say Turkey produced good racing in addition to--or perhaps in spite of--the magnificent turn eight.

Wow this article from marca, if everything is true its very interesting. It points out that the axial turbo has been a failure and they could ditch it for a normal one. Also they would ditch the size-zero engine enclosure by enlarging it therefore the power unit can be cooled more properly. This Ho...

IMHO no it wasn't a biggest gamble ever. Knowing the engine situation, the team situation, and the money that Mercedes could bring to F1 it wasn't a huge gamble at all.
