Re: The 2012 Return of Webber Bombing!
I hate to ask a daft question, but is someone going to make a Webber mask and take it to a mass of F1 fans to spook Webber? (and Webber bomb Webber?) I can't make it to an F1 race this year, but if I could, seeing that alone would be worth the ticket price! Red Bull had them in 2009 I think. I've g...

Re: Webber nails a getaway.
I'm pretty much done talking to infi22r . He is about as biased as they come and blames RBR for every bad thing that Webber endures. He even started the thread right after a few races this year saying since Webber is doing better right now , shouldn't RBR focus on him, and not that brat Vettel, lol...

A few people tweeting about this Ian Parkes @ianparkesf1 Had a chat with an F1 insider who feels protest of Red Bull floor will go ahead today. Take pick from McLaren, Merc or Ferrari to protest. James Allen @Jamesallenonf1 #f1 Post race protest into Red Bull floor at Monaco? Any info on what the...

Re: Vettel to Ferrari
F1's 'silly season' has started in earnest with a fresh wave of speculation in the Monaco paddock claiming that Sebastian Vettel has signed a pre-contract agreement with Ferrari. 'Insiders are adamant that the German has signed an option with Ferrari for 2014, subject to competitive form from the P...

As soon as they hit their pit window and this aligns with pitting and getting back into clean air the front runners will have to pit immediately to maintain track position. If its a close call and a trailing car pits first and has a great out lap with no traffic, then they should get position. Will ...

Re: Oh no, Webber has always been...............
I wonder about Rosberg's history of making starts, any ideas? Wasn't too shabby in China. I think his starts are ok. I think generally he gets off the line very well, and this may be an entirely subjective comment, he seems to be a little cautious. I can't see Webber relinquishing P1 easily unless ...

Re: Maldonado 2nd ramming incident in a year
I actually think that was accidental. A bit careless, but certainly not on purpose. I actually don't like him much, but the video wasn't what I was expecting to see. After winning the last race, there is no way in hell he would deliberately hit another car.

Re: Oh no, Webber has always been...............
Drivers have always said the starts are all down to dropping both the clutch paddles perfectly, minimizing the wheelspin and getting on full throttle as soon as possible, reaction time isn't that important if you can eliminate all wheelspin. But surely that can be addressed with practice after anal...

Re: Oh no, Webber has always been...............
You would think that they would be able to look at the data and work out exactly what he is doing wrong? This is the bit I find strange. I can only assume it is a reaction speed thing, otherwise they would've done something about it already. I'd love to know what every 0.01 second delay in reaction...

Re: Oh no, Webber has always been...............
Webber was much better during the launch control era. Good skill in that race. You wouldnt know he only started carting in his teens. He is clearly the class of the field there. He was a bit quicker than Bright. He made up a huge gap to finish a close second. This is another race from pole and anot...

I'm pretty sure I noticed that soon after the start. I'd say it was contact with another tyre/car that caused it.bouncemaker wrote:Lol, how'd they get away with that?

Re: The Future of Mark Webber
I posted this in the the "old" forum. Webber to Ferrari is confirmed for 2013. A business contact is good mates with him and he confirmed it over the summer break, even before Massa's poor start to this season. It makes perfect sense with Alonso. He's signed until 2015 which means Webber could theor...

Threads like this crack me up and the very reason I love reading them so much. We have way too much time on our hands! For what it's worth, I don't think Rosberg broke any rules as such, but I don't think it was very friendly. But who's in racing to make friends! I guess Rosberg was sick of being ca...
