Re: The Official Michael Schumacher thread
I think you should check the video. There was no way he was going to be ahead of grosjean at turn one. He was always going to have 2 cars to his inside and he was going to have to contend with the two cars behind grosjean and alonso. Turn one at monaco is only wide enough for one car.

Re: The Official Michael Schumacher thread
With his experience shumi should have known that going 3 wide into turn one was not going to work. Even if grosjean had not hit him he would have lost out in turn one because he had two cars inside of him. Not bad luck just bad judgement.

Re: The Official McLaren MP4-27 Thread!
The nose isn't the problem, the biggest problem is their pit stops and lack of good strategy. Until they sort out those problems they have no chance of winning the drivers championship. I'm sure hamilton is thinking long and hard about whether this is the team that gives him the best chance to win.

I'm sure whit will have his usual reply. " We will go look at the data and i will tell the guys, good job, and we will try harder the next race". " Great job by the drivers and they did the best that they could do, to bad about my favorite driver having bad luck".

Re: The Monaco Grand Prix Race Thread
Good job by webber, great strategy by red bull for vettel, usual from macca, slow pit stop and bad strategy. Typical race for monaco, prosessional but interesting.

Title should read "Fernando's driving is amazing and mine is not". Massa's career in F1 is done. Just a matter of time before ferrari pulls the plug.

should we start a poll on how many blunders it will take before the ron does something about this mess? More valuble points gone again this weekend. Come the end of the year maclaren may be regretting how many points they have thrown away.

Re: The Official McLaren MP4-27 Thread!
Pit crews have become extra important with the teams being so close. When you say it's a high stress job, your right. Thats why it baffles me they don't have a specialized tire changing crew. With the enormous budgets that these teams run on it would seem a no brainer to have a special pic crew. Sti...

Re: The Official McLaren MP4-27 Thread!
Well let me say it again. The nascar pit crews have just one job. The top teams pay them to do just one job. They practice all week to just hone their skills at just that job. They get their flights, meals and hotels paid for. This is a series that is a cut below formula one. So once again my questi...

Re: The Official McLaren MP4-27 Thread!
I can't believe that a multi million dollar team has a volunteer pit crew. If nascar found out that you could have a unpaid pit crew they would love it. I would be interested to know if the other F1 teams also have a volunteer pit crews. With pit stops being as important as they are now you would th...

Re: Hamilton to muscle in on McLaren's Mugello test schedule
Did he really change his mind or did Whit tell him not to rock the boat. Real race drivers don't want to take a day off. Whit better hope that red bull, lotus and ferrari don't make a step forward or he's going to look even dumber than he already does.

Re: Hamilton to muscle in on McLaren's Mugello test schedule
Seems to be quite a few people on here that are experts on what testing is all about. The posters that say maclaren has the best car. Didn't look like it the last race. The posters that say maclaren is the best at car development. What happened last year? RBR kicked their donkey. They not only start...

Re: Hamilton to muscle in on McLaren's Mugello test schedule
There is no credible excuse that maclaren can have to not let hamilton test at least one of the days. Letting him test on the last day with what they have learned would get them validation on whether they are going in the right direction. Think about it. Would ferrari say no to alonso, would mercede...

Hire a nascar pit crew. If they don't preform chad knaus will fire them all and get a crew that will do the job.

Re: I'm doubting Maccas race pace...
What race pace. Lotus has caught them. Their big update package hasn't seemed to have given them any extra pace. Compare their times to the other top teams on fia timing. They better find pace quick before their chance at having a driver compete for the championship is gone. How much of their qualif...

Re: Fire Martin Whitmarsh please!
Complaining about whit is not just about this year. This problem has been getting steadily worse since he has taken over. Re: The Lewis Hamilton appreciation thread (official)
Strategy! Unfortunately i don't think macca has a clue about strategy. They just react to what the other teams are doing and to top it all off they now can't consistently go through a race without messing up one of their pit stops. Hamilton needs to get the lead and hope that macca doesn't undercut ...

It gets tiring hearing people call hayden a 2nd rate rider. This is a guy who won a world championship with a team that didn't provide him with the support that he deserved. He has spent his whole career being underestimated by the teams he has ridden for. Once again he is with a team who has spent ...

Last year when maclaren screwed up hamiltons pit stops most people were willing to give them a pass. Finally people are starting to see how bad their strategy is race after race. If its parity how come he beat alonso? Everybody comments on how drivers won or lost and forget they have a team of people behind them.
