Re: Martini to end Williams sponsorship

Had Kubica got the drive this would have probably made Martini stay on. The idea of coming back from near death while sipping a Martini, would have made something out of it. It's also more in line with today's "motivational" trend we see just about anywhere. From a promotional perspective, quite a d...

it's clear that Mclaren thinks they are on to something with the aero. That is why they are revealing only in Australia. Or they don't want to spark the protest now. They have something and don't want others to see it. But we will have to wait and see if it does work PS: The aero behind the front wh...

Re: What Is the Highest WDC Ranking for a Paying Driver?

Whether you count Perez as a pay drive or not, I think that bang for the buck he is up there. Besides personal backing (which is something most drivers bring through sponsors) he collected enough dollars for his team through his finishes. Not a bad choice to have someone bringing in good sponsors, b...

I think he is just trying to make sure he is able to fight for something this year.

If his Mclaren goes well, he will definitely switch total focus to f1.

But I can fully understand him, the guy has been out of the running for some years now. He is just trying to be able to compete for something.

f1 today was saying that Kubica is still the prefered choice and Sirotkin a 3rd driver. Apparently they said if Kubica fails to deliver.

Who knows what will happen. I guess it all depends if the backers pay the installment fee.

i would not say it is that bad of a lineup with Stroll and Sirotkin.

It's certainly a young team, but it's quite decent.

Still, I would have loved to see Kubica back. I wonder what happened there....

Hamilton is a weird character, to say the least. I personally despise people with such characters, as they can't get over frustrations from the past. Had their car been a merc, Daniel would have been champion this year and the other, if we take points alone. Of course, this is just an example. At the same time, no tire deg would occur. If the...
