They might not be testing Di Resta because they already know what he's like as he's their test driver.

Re: Williams uninspiring driver options for 2018
Kubica: He's been out of F1 for 7 years. Do I need to say much more? I really don't like having to speak like this as it sounds unreasonable. But even if you were great at the time, having that amount of time out of the sport surely will have a huge affect on your ability to rejoin again. It will o...

Hamilton and Vettel team mates.
If next season Hamilton and Vettel were team mates how would the season pan out? Which circuits would suit either driver better and on the neutral circuits how could the drivers try to maximise their chances of victory?

Statistically William's best driver between 1996 and the present day is Jacques Villeneuve with 11 victories over two seasons and a World Drivers Championship. Damon also gained a world championship the year before Villeneuve but only gained 8 victories from 1996.

I'd like to see 26 cars on the grid.
I also think it would be cool to give each car a letter A - Z instead of the driver numbers!

Re: 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix Race Thread
Just placed my bet, Vettel to win 33/1. £15. With a SC or two this can easily happen, the field spread is huge here. Vettel will have a car 2-3 seconds per lap quicker than everything until he reaches P6. It would not surprise me if he is in the top 8 by lap 5. According to Paddy Power Vettel has a...

Alonso won't go to Ferrari but I wouldn't be surprised to see him alongside Hamilton next season! The bets will then be on for how long we have to wait before they start behaving in the same way Prost and Senna did at McLaren in 1998.

How about having a safety car speed limit of 100mph which will deactivate once the car has passed the start finish line? There is already a limiter fitted to the cars so adding a second speed won't be that difficult.

Assuming McLaren get a decent engine next season, how much damage will 2017 have done to the team? Will morale be so low the engineers can't get the best from the engine? Will the drivers be nervous about wringing the maximum from the engine?

But as the number '1' driver and obviously the number one driver in the team would he listen to any team orders instructing him to let Hamilton pass or to aid his race?
