Re: Ricciardo 2019 contract. Where will he end up?
I think Red Bull are forming as the favourites. He’s said he wants a 2 year deal to coincide with the new engine regs. So that gives him 2 years to see how Honda goes, then decide if he wants to go elsewhere, or see if Red Bull go with Honda or Aston Martin McLaren is still my dark horse. He could ...

Re: Ricciardo 2019 contract. Where will he end up?
I think he will end up signing a 1 year deal with Red Bull, test the waters with the probably Honda engine next year.
Mercedes will stick with Hamilton and Bottas
Ferrari will stick with Vettel and Kimi. Kimi will overall do enough to stay around 1 year more.

Re: Is this the end of the podium ceremony on TV???
They only brought in the podium interviews from Britain 2012 onwards.
Always hated them, awkwardness.
The Parc Ferme, albeit only been one, could work better.
But overall the interviews with the top 3, behind a desk later on are the best.

Shamelessly lifted from "statman" on AS... * Airbox fin stays as it is * Load tests for the attachment points of the noses are tightened * Height of the exhaust pipes is reduced * Exhaust pipes must not be angled upwards * Bigger rearwing flap * Ban of slots in upper part of rear wing endplate * In...

Oh and it was supposedly a one-way, take it or leave it meeting. Sign up or leave. Doesn't sound like that was the case at all. According to this quote from Ross Brawn on Motorsport.com, the discussion will come at a later stage once the teams have gone away and absorbed the information: "It was a ...

Re: Liberty's Blueprint Revealed for Formula 1 - 2021 onward
They should tell ALL teams take it or leave it.
If Ferrari and Merc quit, then tough. Need to get tough otherwise nothing will ever change.
Then Liberty should focus on seasons 2018-2020 to ensure they are not just a waste of time until the new rules of 2021.

Im not a fan of that idea to get rid of qualifying. The current Qualifying works well.
I am not against the idea of a sprint race, as do we really need 3 Practice sessions?
I cannot remember the last time I watched a single second of it.

Yes, the renault engine isn't as good as the Merc. Change the record Christian.
Although saying that, year 5 of the hybrid era and we have the same order. Mercedes is the class of the field. Ferrari is close, renault is futher back, Honda are miles away.

They are so so bitter. Fact is, Haas has build a good car. Thats it. Force India are no longer getting the attention and they hate it. For me, what Haas done, getting the maximum allowed from Ferrari is the great way to go about it. Remember the absolute joke teams from 2010 such as USF1- lol!!, HRT...

The drivers must absolutely hate the spanish GP.
hundreds upon hundreds of laps here each year testing.
I would say it would be better testing at a circuit that is not on the calander. Jerez for example.

Russia 2017.
I have been watching F1 since 1992. This is the worst.
All the Russian GPs have been rubbish.
Sundays race there was shockingly poor too. A definate top 5 contender.
Russia and Abu Dhabi need dropped.
