Re: Would you like Schumacher to remain in F1 for one more y

I voted yes. I didn't like him in his Bennetton, Ferrari days. I didn't like the way he would never allow a team mate to race him head to head & I didn't like the way he turned Ferrari into a 1 man team. Thats 1 reason why i don't rate him as the G.O.A.T. Now - I'm impressed by the way he is handlin...

Stir, stir, stir. Seriously dude. I'm not stiring. The general opinion of PlanetF1 is that Webber is useless. Yet despite his front wing falling off in Spain causing a non points finish he is still well ahead of Vettel in the championship. I don't understand how he can be rated anything but a top d...

As i always say, it's not the numbers that measure greatness. It's how you accumulate those numbers. Which again is totally subjective. My 2 cents: Times past will always be more memorable because nostalgia of things that were is as strong as the idea of the greener grass on the other side of the f...

Another stat - 17 of his 22 wins have come from P1, 4 from P2 and 1 from P3. Ha, he can only win from the front! Of Senna's first 33 victories, 31 were won from the front row, and 1 was from 3rd. I double dare you to go after Senna like that. You have to remember with Senna that his 1st 6 win...

A few people seem to be arriving at the comclusion that a person, or persons, was/were negligent in leaving the truck where it was with its tailgate half up/down. Yes they do. As they did in the sixties. And, if that attitude prevailed, we would not have seatbelts, Hans devices, crash structures, Kevlar bags for fuel, tethers for wheels, drivers' feet behind axle lines, etc, etc . Let me just say that, for me, F1 is an open wheel, open cockpit formula, and I...

Tail lifts are routinely left in that position on hundreds (if not thousands) of sites every day, why?, because it acts as a step making it easier and SAFER to get into and out of the vehicle from the ground... Re: Monaco 1984 and all the other "What ifs"

I don't think it would have made much difference... I still think Senna would have moved on to a bigger team anyway as there had been lots of teams who had wanted him before he joined Toleman, but they didn't have a seat for the 1984 season. I think he'd already shown them in other races what they ...

Ok. So according to Marko & Seb, Charlie knew the alternator on Seb's car was dodgy and so did Vergne. So, Vergne, a driver in RB's junior team & acting under instructions from Charlie, deliberately drives into Kovi and fly's back to the pits in an attempt to distribute debris all over the track, th...

If Vettel gets to the 1st corner leading then unfortunately I think it's good night Gracie. He'll walk it in. He's just too good at getting out of the DRS zone within the first couple of laps.
