Re: New 2020 calendar
Its 16 races but not 16 tracks If they are the same weather conditions and the first race is boring who is going to tune into the second one? They will have double the amount of practice and there will be no question marks about strategy I cant see F1 going to South America. I was speaking to someon...

We now have the bizarre situation where Spain are now telling everyone they are open from 1st July whilst the British FCO are advising against all international travel
Spain and Portugal are both trying to attract races behind closed doors, I'm now very confident there will be a 2020 season

Italian press are reporting the story like Sainz is already a done deal
I think Vettel would be quite happy driving in the midfield. Like Kimi, has a family back home, world title and just happy to enjoy racing an F1 car

I wear a mask at work and you get used to wearing them very quickly
However, I wouldn't wanted to see them become the norm in public places. Crime will go through the roof. Shoplifting, mobile phone robberies, bag snatching and worse

i was looking at the 2019 f1 team payouts. i don't really understand this spending cap ? at a $145 million cap, does liberty just give everyone $145 million ? because even toro rosso got 52 million last year. just seems silly to me Its a limit on what teams are allowed to spend. Nothing to do with ...

USA isn't a very good example. They currently have 30million+ new claimants since March and people on low incomes are now actually earning more money than when they worked full time. Plenty of economists are going nuts about it Between furlough and government employees, in the UK the government is c...

Am I the only person who has no desire to see races at the same track a week a part?
Also, UK struggling with keeping people in lockdown now. Obviously a lot will have changed by July but seeing an F1 race carried out as normal (sins crowd) isn't going to help keep the general public in line

If worse came to the worst, and F1 was cancelled for 2 seasons (this is a very real possibility) I am sure most or all the struggling teams would simply be bought out by somebody. Esports is going to overtake motorsport. I used to think it would take a decade or so, now I think it will be in the next couple of years. Going to be worse than 2008 for finding sponsors now.
