Re: 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Thread
Mercedes are starting on mediums as well The writings been on the wall since Mercedes improved in slow corners last year. The only reason last year was remotely interesting is because Ferrari had a warp speed button that enabled them to out qualify and get track position on tracks with long straights

Re: 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix Practice And Qualifiying Threa
Shake of the head from Verstappen. This Mercedes dominance is shocking - Mercedes deserve all the credit but 2022 can't come soon enough. Every week since 2014 weve heard Toto play down Mercedes chances whilst Ferrari and Red Bull play up theirs. The best thing about today is last year's Mercedes c...

Re: 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix Practice And Qualifiying Threa
Barring the odd race where the track suited Red Bull or the turbo charged Ferrari, Mercedes have been completely dominant since the hybrids came in The fact they are half a second clear of the next closest competitor (which is their 2019 car) just shows how car dominated the results are as most alre...

Re: 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix Practice And Qualifiying Threa
Lots of talk about Reb Bull beating Merc in the slow corners. We'll see if that's the case. Toto Wolff has almost become a meme playing down Mercedes' chances. The Mercedes was very good in slow corners last year and looked like it was on rails flying round sector 3 in the Barca preseason test. He ...

Maybe Renault have evidence Mercedes sold the parts/design rather than it being reverse engineered
Also, I don't think it's salty at all. All teams protest each other if they think the rules have been broken

Bottas has said he had a problem with his front brake glazing so couldn't push The Mercedes and red bull are obviously very strong in the wet. There was a problem with Hamiltons onboard footage, the grid is always published on race day. If you read the article there was an official notification 97 mins before the race after they'd studied the 360footage. The fact both Red Bull and Mercedes went to P2 and p5 on the grid before the final ste...

For those not happy with the safety cars, I will start banging the drum I've been banging for a good few years now. SLOW ZONES are needed, like they have in the WEC. It would solve the problem so easily. Do slow zones work any differently to yellows or double waved yellows? They have the virtual SC
