Re: Damon Hill - Better than his reputation?
The key to Hill's reputation lies in the aftermath of Adelaide 1994, I am convinced. Whereas the Williams team can be forgiven for not challenging the outcome of that race, the FIA cannot. Their shameful conduct continues to throw a shadow over the whole period. (I doubt the shame applies to Mosley...

Re: Eddie Irvine and the 1997 Japanese GP
Looking at how Irvine rates for each of his seasons 1993 -1999: 1993: only competed twice, driver-rated slow, just 0.1 behind Barrichello. 1994; slowest of three Jordan drivers, ranked closely at 0.1 gaps in order Barrichello, de Cesaris then Irvine. 1995:equal to DC and faster than Jordan team-mat...

Re: Overtakes - quantity vs quality
If the overtakes spiked because of the tires, then I wonder what it will be like this year with harder compounds and one-stop races. That said, I remember a driver saying something to the effect of "What is more memorable to a fisherman? Catching 100 goldfish? Or catching 10 great white sharks?" DRS...

Leah Pritchett won this weekend in the NHRA Top Fuel class. She has now won the first two events of the season, which hasn't happened in the Top Fuel class in 20 years! She beat another woman, Brittany Force, in the final on Sunday. http://image.dailynews.com/storyimage/LA/20170226/SPORTS/170229581/...

Re: Damon Hill - Better than his reputation?
Hill was very good considering his unusual path to F1. That said, 11th is WAY too high. Maybe somewhere between 20-25, but certainly not 11th. He deserves the one title he has, but no more. He got all he could out of his F1 career, quite a feat considering how late it began. The key to Hill's reputa...

If only the front wing was the same dimensions as last year....... But the car still looks beautiful. By comparison to the width of the car itself the front wing is actually significantly smaller than last years Indeed, but it's still a giant wing. IMO the car would look sexier with a smaller wing.

The Three Gods Riddle
The Three Gods Three Gods A, B, and C are called, in no particular order, True, False, and Random. True always speaks truly, False always speaks falsely, but whether Random speaks truly or falsely is a completely random matter. How could we forget: Sebastian Vettel at Monza in 2008 in a Toro Rosso.... IIRC it was the only car with a wet-weather setup. Not that special. Out of curiosity, has any current racing driver (in any formula) come out and said that they wouldn't have employed the exact same tactics that Hamilton did? A lot of his promises are either unfeasible, unreasonable, or illegal so most will never happen. I would have loved it. Right now it's too one-sided. We need Abu Double to add spice to the spectable. Integrity is the main "spice" of competition. I'd liken it to salt. :D Try to make a meal without salt of any kind, and you will find a meal lacking in flavor. Try to make a competition without in...

The way I see it, Toyota have two seats available, and M-Sport have 1 seat (I think the privateer DMACK team has 2 seats available, but no way any of these 3 drivers will go there), so perhaps Latvala and Ogier will head to Toyota, and Mikkelsen will go to M-Sport.
