Re: Attending a GP
Anyone else going to the Singapore GP? I'll be there from Friday until the Monday after. I've heard the city really comes alive for grand prix weekends with lots of parties and the likes. It will be my first gp attendance and I'm really looking forward to it. I might skip going to the Friday practic...

Re: 2014 Hungarian GP Race Thread
There was a dry line on a damp track when Rosberg was stuck behind Verne. At the same time you didn't see Hamilton trying to pass Vettel even though Vettel was going as slowly as Verne. Lol. Lewis past Verne a lap after Nico pitted so pretty much in the same phase. Nico wasn't even hassling Verne. ...

Re: 2014 Hungarian GP Race Thread
I just watched the race again. Mercedes messed up BIG TIME and lost Hamilton and the team a guaranteed second place and a possible First place hunting Ricciardo down at the end. Had they pitted Hamilton anywhere between lap 36 and 39 after Rosberg pitted and put Lewis on the soft rubber he would hav...

Re: Driver of the race Hungary 2014
For me driver of the day was definitely Lewis. Starting from the pit lane and spinning on cold brakes as no warm up lap to warm the tyres and brakes and in very tricky conditions, to get to the podium and should have won with the optimum strategy was unbelievable. I just watched the race again. Lewi...

Re: 2014 Hungarian GP Race Thread
From Toto Wolff: "They are fighting the World Championship, it wasn't an easy call, we need to look at all the pros and cons."
Lewis letting Nico through would have definitely lost him more ground in the title race as it turned out. I'm not sure what anyone expected of Lewis in that situation.

Re: 2014 Hungarian GP Race Thread
It's hard to see Hamilton and Mercedes coming back from this season in terms of the relationship. It's going just like it did in 2012 at McLaren. He doesn't trust the team or their abilities and the garage apparently is closer to his team mate. A tough one for him now. He can go back to McLaren for...

As it turned out, inspired decision by Lewis not to move an inch for Nico. Today was all about damage limitation but he nor we ever dreamed he would finish in front of Nico. Re: Lewis Hungarian GP 2014 fun time filler
Hopefully Hamilton will battle hard and put on an entertaining race but ultimately finish outside the top 10. It would be good for F1 if one of the Mercedes were to place outside the points because the team are having it too easy this season. I'm nervous but I think Nico can get the full 25 points ...

Lewis Hungarian GP 2014 fun time filler
Hi. Just a silly unscientific (and hopefully unpolitical) thread before the race to guesstimate where exactly Lewis will finish. We know now he's starting from the pits in 21st place at the Hungaroring lol. We also know pretty much what the grid will be. At the end of the race we'll see those who go...

Re: Would Mercedes Intentionally Disadvantage Hamilton?
I read some things about Lewis and Nicos' relationship with their mechanics. I think that's *Definitely True*. Any half decent mechanic on the grid would do his job to the utmost regardless. Lewis mechanics and Mercedes (they have system checks) are simply dropping the ball. Nothing to do with sabot...

Didn't hear anything about Merc having break issues. I just heard that both drivers have decided to go with CI and that apparently there are few heavy breaking zones on this track.
With what happened to Lewis last race though I don't blame them.

Early practice a lot more interesting without FRIC. Speedway for cars. 8) I'm speculating purely, but the loss of fric seems to have affected other cars even more than the Mercs.
