Re: Predictions - Hamilton & Mercedes
Let's wait till winter testing...Mercedes will definitely give it a go for 2013.
Taking 2012 form only, I have no expectations - probably be battling with the Torro Rosso's / Force India's and maybe Lotus (Grosjean).

How motivated will the triple World Champ be next season?
Who ever wins, I think it is a fair question to pose how motivated that individual will be next season. When you talk about drivers who are triple world champs, you go into the realm of Prost / Senna / Schumacher / Stewart etc... Basically - legend status. It will be extremely difficult for either d...

Fernando has been great on the starts partly because the long straights at the start of the race have allowed the Ferrari to really stretch its legs down the main and back straights. The short run from the start to turn 1 might hamper any sights of challenging the Red Bulls going into turn 1 tomorro...

Re: Whitmarsh takes a swipe at Ferrari and Alonso
It rubs me the wrong way what they did, but F1 has never been a bed of roses. Fernando has been burned by the hands that feed him - remember Monza 2006? That, and also the Michael Schumacher early 2000's domination makes it easy for him to live with moments like this. Also it can be argued that Red ...

I'm really proud of the job they did. I really hope this track will inspire a U.S driver or team to eventually become a part of the F1 fraternity.

Rain on Saturday might be more important than rain on Sunday. If one of the drivers gets knocked out in q1 or q2 it may well decide the championship.

I think Montezemelo put it perfectly today when he said "two roosters will create instability" when speaking of Vettel potentially coming to Ferrari in 2014. The two roosters at Macca have consistently taken points off each other the last three years, and with no outright No.1 driver the team has su...

^ had to look that up on wikipedia. So Minardi's longest drought was from 1995 to 1999. Before and after that they scored a handful points here and there. Pretty amazing how long they existed, and the drivers that have passed through their teams to go on to greater success. Fernando Alonso Alex Zana...

] No, Trey Songz is an r'n'b singer that occasionally raps. R&B means Rhythm and Blues. R&B and rap are close - in that many rap artists will use r&b artists on their records (and vice-versa). However, R&B doesn't encompass rap. Rap is an element of hip-hop: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_hop and...

The biggest issue at Mclaren in 2007, and then from 2010-current has been that their have been two extremely talented drivers in the same team. Nah, don't believe this. The Macca is a fast car, but I think they may have had to reign it in a little after their multiple gear-box failures. Have they had to sacrifice performance for reliability at this point? That's what it looks like from the outside looking in.
