Re: Hamilton-Rosberg Belgium 2014 Incident Thread (renamed)
Let's liken it to darts. If a darts player hits the bullseye he will score 50 points. Not anywhere else on the board. The tyre has to be hit in a specific portion to make the liklihood of a puncture extrenely high. Now I'm sure a darts player with experience will hit the bullseye more often than not...

I just read this on page 1 of this thread. I believe it says all that needs to be said. Now I'm going to have a look at what the rest of the thread might bring up. With a car under reguations that you are not used to, a loss of practuce time due to machanical (or electrical) issues and a team-mate who cannot seem to put a foot wrong I guess that Seb is going to push the envelope a little on race day. It's a common reaction if the equipment under you is not 'th...

I think everyone agrees that Ferrari got away lightly, but it would be better if the team were punished rather than the driver when its a team error - not a driver error. 100% Hamilton's fault.Rules state that you must give the other racing driver space and not push them off of the track.Nico was clearly beside Hamilton enough that he needed that space.Hamilton didn't leave the space and luckily it ruined his race for breaking the rules. I do not like booing and was not happy to witness it after yesterday's race. I'd prefer that it did not happen. However, I suppose that we cannot (and arguably should not) stop people from expressing themselves. With the above argument in mind, we should not be critical of Eddie Jordan asking the fa...

A racing incident, but easily avoidable by Rosberg. I don't think he deliberately tired to crash. I think he tried to be aggressive and got it wrong. Thing is, it could easily have worked out in Lewis's favour. No damage to Lewis & a broken wing for Rosberg & this race would have been completely di...

For me Nico attempted a move around the outside, didn't get the job done (get sufficiently alongside) and backed out. Just made a mistake on backing out and tagged Lewis. Simple misjudgement, with significant consequences.

From an objective view, there is nothing to stop anyone booing if they so wish. From a subjective view, it's a matter of opinion and one's moral stance. I do not personally support the booing but others may find it acceptable.
