Re: 2016 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread
I can see Lewis stuck behind Valtteri for a while now letting Nico drive off into the sunset. Shame, I was looking forward to a on track battle for once.

Re: 2016 Italian Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
There's quite a bit of history of Hamilton passing Rosberg or forcing an error at Monza when they've been team mates, usually into turn 1. Rosberg needs to be more concerned that his qualy time was closer to Vettel's than Hamilton's - he can't afford to lose more than 7 points if he's to stand a cha...

Re: Does the grid penalties system work?
Taking this further, why didn't Lewis take a few extra engines at China once he already knew he'd not set a qualifying time? Effectively no penalty at all then!

Re: 2016 Belgium Grand Prix Race Thread
This is just stupid. Why is Rosberg getting a load of boos? He did nothing wrong at all today. It's the first time many of the spectators will have had an opportunity to directly voice their opinion on his driving this season so far. What? I think some of them haven't forgotten Austria. If one mist...

Re: 2016 Belgium Grand Prix Race Thread
nico looks rather grumpy for a bloke that just won a F1 race.... Lewis looks rather grumpy for a bloke who has had his entire season's bad luck wiped out in 8 racing laps. Given how much Lewis struggled with the tyres all weekend and how consistently Nico was quicker than him, he basically traded a...

Re: Do we need better-looking trophies?
Any trophy in the shape of a company logo is just a piece of advertising. I'm surprised we don't see those oh so tacky boards they bring out behind footballers crammed full of logos when they're doing the podium interviews. They do seem to have stopped digitally projecting adverts on the track thoug...

Re: The Official NICO ROSBERG thread
Does anybody have any idea why Nicos was so bad on the full wet tyre again. I know we only had 2 laps on it, but he lost 2.4 and 3.1 seconds to Hamilton on each of them. It was the same ball park as Monaco and like Monaco, once the inters were put on on his pace was immediately better. It did look ...

If it wasn't for the boos last week at Austria for Lewis then there would have been none. It's childish but don't try to pretend the British are any worse/different to any other nationality.SmoothRide wrote:As "classy" as the British fans are expected to be, probably loud.TedStriker wrote:So how loud will the boos be for Nico?

Re: 2016 British Grand Prix Qualifying Thread
So, what team orders will have been given out to ensure the Merc drivers don't trip over each other on lap 1? Can't see it being a free for all into turn 1 and with Lewis' starts recently it could get messy.

Re: Austrian GP Qualifying and Race Thread
And I thought it was the Hamilton fans that are supposed to be blindly biased? A best it is sour grapes, and at worst something far more sinister. Once again Nico shows that he resorts to desperate/dangerous manoeuvres when he is in danger of losing the lead. I don't doubt for a second that he had b...

Hypocrisy? Also the height of hypocrisy is people saying Rosberg locking wheels and somehow staying in the track is in control, but when Hamilton understeers, then it is not being in control. It's definitely not one way traffic, though. How many of those who blamed Rosberg in 2014 are now doing the...

Ignoring the reasons Rosberg left the track just after the start, how was he not investigated for an unsafe rejoin?
