According to one of the facebook posters, if someone had done that(leaning towards your leg) to your leg it would only cause your bike to slide over. But surely it would have been better to leave him out longer and at least give him a chance to jump those cars, especially as he was lapping faster. Pitting him when they did took that chance away. If his tyres were done, then not pitting him would have been worse. The tyres were lasting very well ...

I mean how obvious does it have to get - kimi lapping best part of a second quicker then riccardo and they pit him and he comes out just behind him and bottas. Well, if you look at what happened it was far less obvious. - on lap 30, Ricciardo was 0.7s slower than Raikkonen. But Raikkonen was on wor...

Good job it didnt happen the other way round. I think there would be effigies of bottas being burned at the next race and he would need 24hr protection from some of the kimi fans on here. The kimi bottas incident didnt need to ever happen. Yet again ferrari f**ked up kimis strategy. Maybe its a sign of the current state of F1 that i used to have problems finding decent streams to watch races. They would be awful quality and cut out all the time. I disagree strongly. Istanbul Park was one of the best tracks period. And turn 8 was a Gem of a turn in that while perhaps drivers couldn't follow as closely as some would prefer, taking that turn better than the guy ahead would leave with greater speed exiting to swoop in under braking. The entire...

They have tested the canopy but with this there is the problem of getting the driver out after an accident. Surely they can make an open top canopy/protective screen of some sort . Something that is strong enough to deflect most objects away. Wouldnt have to be too high as the drivers head is so low...

Re: What's wrong with Yasuhisa Arai? Or is it Honda?
The thing that annoys me nearly as much as how bad these engines sound, is that its such an uneven playing field. Merc spent a reputed 500 million developing their engine. They knew it was their big opportunity to dominate and so there was no expense spared. I dont have figures for how much ferrari,...

At spa this weekend. First time at a gp since 2009. Heard 3L V10s and the V8s at silverstone. A 3l v10 at 20000rpm will never be beaten unfortunately. These current engines are truly, truly abysmal. There is something wrong when the best sounding engines are the gp3 cars, then the gp2 cars, then the...

Re: Why are some good cars so bad in the wet?
I guess one of the big things is simply down to the ability to generate heat in the tyres. This is the main factor for me. Whether it is due to downforce, car setup, driving style. Certain cars will definitely be inherently worse in the wet but i think driving style is the biggest factor. Take Alon...
