Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
Indeed very stupid thread. Seems that creater of it has its own opinion and is trying to convince others into it...which i dont get. Michael won the title, what could have been what should have been no one will ever know... You might aswell start thread if Hitler didn't attacked Soviet union in WW2...

Re: What was it about F1 that hooked us in to love the sport
Hmmm let me get that... You're watching F1 since 2007 and few days ago you started a thread "what if Senna didnt died in 1994" would he won the championship...and stated that you think he would.. You didnt even watched neither Schumacher or Senna drive.... Ahhhhhh, nothing like the beauty of archiv...

What was it about F1 that hooked us in to love the sport?
For me it was the rivalry of Hamilton and Alonso as teammates at McLaren in 2007 just before his first win in Montreal that totally sold me and have been feverishly addicted to F1 since then. Then I bought F1 CE on my brand new PS3 in the same year which got me intrigued about it more learning the i...

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
I have always believed that Schumacher was only either disqualified or banned from 4 races to keep the championship alive that season . So no. I don't think Senna would have won the championship. Hill was gifted 40 points that year. By the way Steve Matchett (American TV commentator for Speed and a...

Re: Why do people complain Lewis started his career with McL
Lewis has done his job and has done it well. I know I used to complain about him all the time, but I grew up and just dealt with it. With testing being pretty much limited and Lewis was in a league of his own in GP2 in 2006, my goodness... He earned the right for his seat just the same as JV did wh...

Lets have a laser show while we're at it ... or trap doors on the circuit itself opening up randomly with man eating sharks in them just to spice up things!

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
This is getting ridiculous. Verging on fan-fiction in places. Fact is no one knows what would have happened if Senna had not crashed / survived. The points/championships he would have won is pure speculation. For all you know he would have thrown the towel in, retired and went fishing with Sid Watk...

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
Even if he didnt crash... I highly doubt that he would won that race... What makes you think he would won that race...he couldnt win 2 races before that one. That's a bit of pointless statement :) I think Senna had as much chance of winning that race as being 2nd , retire,... Exactly ... and that w...

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
I doubt it, but it's possible. A 30-point lead is a freakin' huge lead. It wouldn't have been a 30 point lead after Imola as he was going to win that race. First, of all, there's no way to know that. Nowhere near enough of the race happened to even be able to predict what would happen. Second, I as...

Why do people complain Lewis started his career with McLaren
The other day I had an argument with a friend of mine who is also into F1 and he HATES Hamilton cause he started his career with a "good" team like Macca 07 instead of a "building" team where SUPPOSEDLY all drivers should start their careers in order to supposedly "pay their dues". Personally I don'...

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
If Schumacher still had those 2 DQ's and 2 missing races, then yes, Senna would have been a champ in 1994 imo. But had Senna lived then Scumacher wouldn't have been DNQ'd from Spa as there would have been no plank to have been too thin. That is correct, but it would have been impossible to disquali...

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
I don't really see what changes with Senna blinded due to a severed retinal artery, brain damaged by the bleeding on his brain and further brain and spinal damage from the basal skull fracture. Doesn't sound like someone who is going to be in a position to walk again never mind win a motor-race. Al...

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
I am convinced Hill would've shaved Schumi's points off by the 2nd half of the season setting up Senna for the WDC ... probably right down to the last race ... and no way Schumi would've pulled the same stunt on Senna like he did with Hill and JV. Especially after being schooled by him in an argument.

Re: If Senna didnt die, would he have won the WDC in 1994?
Are you familiar with a part of Chaos Theory called the Butterfly Effect? You change one aspect of history, you must change every aspect. No-one can ever know. If Senna had lived he & Schumacher may have been involved in an accident that killed them both, or he may have won another 4 or 5 champions...

I am a firm believer he would've owned Schumi eventually that season. Lets hear your opinions.
