I think the sprint was too many laps. It was exciting for the first few laps but then died down as the field spread and drivers started to think about getting tyres to the end.

Give them high grip tyres and a 10 lap race. Then it's a proper sprint.

I think the teams were caught out by the tyre degradation and just how much faster it was to do a later pit stop or a second stop.

So some drivers may have been looking like stars when really it was just better strategy.

I think it just needs to be accepted for what it is.

It rewards good qualifiers with millimetre precision and well setup cars.
