Re: Vettel cutting the track everywhere after 1st lap punctu
To me, this is such a none story. Did he gain a time advantage cutting corners? Yes. Did it reduce the risk of him coming to a halt on the circuit or shedding lots of rubber on corners? Yes. The second question for me is all we need to know. So why in Spa did Vettel stay on the track instead of get...

Not sure if his presence has made any difference to the teams success. He did nothing for Ferrari with his time in a managerial position, then got the huff with them when he left and they started winning everything. No news story imo. He was also ineffective at Jaguar. There is far more chance of getting back to the pits without leaving bits of tyre all over the racing line if they do that. If they know they are running last and nobody is going to be passing them, it's the sensible thing to do.

Are the stories I'm seeing on Twitter true that Honda have replaced either the engine, or something to do with the powertrain for each and every practice and quali session this weekend?

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/121578 Being reported by autosport, couldn't see another thread. I know it's only a rebranding but yes please! Would certainly soften the blow of losing the Lotus name from the grid. We lost the Lotus name from grid in about 1994 if I remember correctly. ...

I'll wait and see on this one. To me, the Green Lotus team of a few years ago was actually Lotus.
A re-branding holds nothing to me unless the company get fully involved. Otherwise it's just PR rubbish and a new colour.

I finally got my first ever snakes last week. I have many pets but have always wanted a corn snake. I got two and one has just started to shed this evening. I'd SO excited. They are fab creatures.

Since his dad got him to fly on wires in probably the worst bit of promo I've ever seen, he's taken a bit of a step back. The reason we see him perhaps more than others is because of a number of things. One, he was at McLaren who are very keen on PR. Then Mercedes, a huge company returning to the to...

Re: Track Limits Abuse? FIA investigates sinking the kerbs
How about a very very shallow gulley of water? This would mean that any speed advantage they gained by taking the corner too fast would be negated by having a couple of wet tyres for a short while after! In fact, the could freeze the water! That'll learn um!

Nobody because it's a pathetic, outdated tradition that should be scrapped. Any particular reason you feel that way? Nobody because it's a pathetic, outdated tradition that should be scrapped. Completely disagree - I think those that make a difference should be honoured, and traditions should be upheld. I do think though, that it is too often used politically. But that starts to get off-topic, so to bring it back...

Re: Did Lewis Force Nico off the Track at Suzuka?
Personally I think it's beyond any doubt that he did run Niko off the the track. The problem is, this seems perfectly allowed in F1 which is a major flaw in the sport. There hardly seems to be a race without this kind of thing happening. It's far from being something that Hamilton is only guilty of....

That was a simply stunning race and again, the MOTO 3 race was a complete blast from start to finish. Shame for Kent but it's good to see riders going for it and not taking it easy even though they know the title is basically their's.
Can't wait for next race weekend.

Re: Marshal getting debris in Russia
I was certainly the wrong thing to have done. That said, I do feel there should be some way of getting marshals on to the track to pick up little bits of debris without having to have 5 laps behind a safety car. Sometimes, even the smallest of contacts with another car can leave a bit of carbon in t...

That was crazy from I assume Rosberg.
I appreciate the SC board was being shown, but to slow down so quickly through a corner is asking for trouble. Why not accelerate out of the corner and then gradually slow? Could have been a big shunt behind.
