Re: The Real Reason Red Bull are Behind
Some title winning Red Bull weren't quickest out of the box. In 2012 Vettel only started winning races on regular basis during second part of the season iirc. The 2017 car still might win multiple races.

Re: All New Top Gear Thread
I really like new top gear. New hosts seem to be more enthusiastic about cars than old trio and whole show seems to be less scripted than the grand tour. TGT had some good episodes, but many were just bad. New TG seems better show now.

Good for F1 that there is competition at the front again with two teams and someone 'different' has won on pure pace but still think merc threw this away. I've always thought there strategy under pressure has been questionable over the last few years but have been able to get away with it due to ha...

I was wondering if Merc dont want to go out in the wet so other teams can not study the airflow? Didn't Hamilton say that he wasn't too keen to drive in the wet today? He said I'll put some excuse of a leg cramp & let Bottas take the car out in the noon session. Yes and he won't drive today it seems.

Re: 2017 Pre-Season Testing Thread
Not a promising start for McLaren, but if you're going to have something like that happen then it's definitely better to happen on day 1 of testing rather than during the first race of the season. Of course, if it starts becoming a trend then that'll be a problem... I'm a bit disappointed, tbh. Ren...

Bernie is well past his use by date as regards F1. Yes, he played a key role in its growth, but over the last many years (decade) he has been a very negative source as well as a source of problems. if he is gone (should have been gone long before..and in jail), I say "Harrah!!!" I don't know. On paper he should be perfect, but there again so was Todt and he turned out to be an absolute disaster at the FIA. This. I expect Brawn to do better in his role than Todt (if we can compare the two roles), but Todt is a prime example of how the perfect man for the job turns into a di...
