All and all I would say they're neck and neck when it comes race day. Both are very calibrated, they know when to push and when to hold back. One thing that separates them I would say is that:

Raikonen more aggressive and risk taker than Alonso.
Alonso better qualifier.

2011 RB7's qualifing pace was astonishing. 15 Poles or so, and many of them well over the qualification records. That was a beast, best ever F1 car made in my opinion.

They're all horrible pay divers, they don't deserve their seat in F1. Especially Gutierrez.

Allthough I would say Van de Garde had some results in GP2 but as far as F1 is concerned, horrible.
