Re: Williams uninspiring driver options for 2018
The days of Williams being able to attract the top drivers are long gone. The way Button fought tooth and nail to get out of his Williams obligation was very telling. But now they don't even seem to be in the market for drivers in the next bracket down. Traditionally over the last 10 years they hav...

Re: Williams uninspiring driver options for 2018
I feel quite deflated about this (latest "Kubica out of contention" news). I've been a Williams supporter for over 30 years now. It's been awful seeing them slip further and further down the grid, but every winter I live in hope that "next season will be the one"....... Forget the new logo, or maki...

Re: F1 logo to change in 2018
I don't mind the new logo, really. Everything else about the visual identity changed, so the old logo was outdated. I don't understand the hate for the new logo - it looks OK, maybe not as good as the old one, but certainly feels more modern to me. It's just not worth getting wound up about. I don'...

Re: F1 logo to change in 2018
I had high hopes when Liberty took over F1. If this logo is an indication of the standard of other "improvements" they are planning to make, I have a feeling I am going to end up somewhat underwhelmed/disappointed....... I work in IT and have done for well over 25 years now, so I'm not averse to cha...

Re: Would you support Ferrari or let them go?
One less team means that Williams finish closer to the top. Gets my vote  But seriously...... I think this is just an idle threat, just like Red Bull do every so often. I do believe though that F1 would continue just fine without Ferrari. And I also believe that Liberty Media should call their ...

Re: Your favourite Formula One seasons are...?
For purely sentimental reasons it has to be 1987 for me - and it's really based on just one race if I'm honest (British GP at Silverstone), so it probably wasn't even a particularly great season and I'm just remembering it through rose-tinted glasses. It was the first year I went to a Grand Prix and...

Re: F1 wants Leicester City type shocks
I think the best chance of it happening is exactly the opposite of speccing the cars. Open up the regulations so there isn't one narrowly defined development path, and that may throw up a few surprises. You can control things by putting in maximum parameters (engine capacity, fuel type/amount etc),...
