Re: Grid Girl ban - forum poll
Makes no difference to me either way, in all honesty I can barely even remember seeing them - they had become part of the furniture to the extent they were almost invisible.

Re: formula e round 1 and 2 - Hong Kong
I watched the first race, and even after if finally got going (following a 30 minute stop because a car got stuck) I wasn’t too enthralled - there seemed to be little in terms of visible speed or excitement, the track was awe full with virtually no overtaking opportunities. I get that this is a test...

Re: Attending a GP
Previously been to Valencia in 2012, the year Alonso won - so the atmosphere was brilliant. Plus it doubled as a holiday in Alicante. I now have general admission tickets for Barcelona next year, but now looking for some advise on the best place to watch from (there seems to be quite a sizeable area...

Re: Top 10 Rated Drivers
The top three in the original post are by far the best drivers (fastest, complete, raw) on the grid . Hamilton, Alonso, and Verstapen are quite rare talents and I find it difficult to seperate them out. Vettel and Riciardo follow on behind, with the remaining 15 drivers all interchangable - possibly...

Re: 7 Tyres for 2018 - A Pirelli Rainbow...
The whole tyre regs in F1 has become rediculous.
Simply create two or three compounds and allow the teams to choose which they prefer, remove the manadatory rule to run on more than one compound and drop the nonsense of starting in the same tyre as Q2 fastest lap.

Re: Hulkenberg or Perez?
Perez had a couple of good races for McLaren, one where he prevented Alonso from overtaking, the rest has been not so good.

Re: Michelin not ruling out a return to F1
I would love to see tyre competition back in the sport again, with 2 or more manufacturers providing rubber. Allow the tyre companies to provide as many compounds as they like and let the teams work out the fasted combination to get around the 60 or so laps. At present, with there only being the one...

Hi all.
How long does it normally take for post approval, I assume it is a manual process?

Re: F1 needs fresh ideas to keep from falling apart even mor
If you look back over the past 30 years there has never been more than 2 teams capable of winning the championship, and in about half it was a sole dominant team. Not much has changed really, the winning margin has not increased over time, but continually fluctuated. Year Team Points Margin Margin% ...

Re: Race Results Ruined
Having carried out mission impossible, surviving the whole day without seeing/hearing the result, comes the final hurdle - switching on the TV. It seems so innocuous, but fraught with danger. Is it near the top of the hour (sports results) Will the TV still be on Sky Sports F1 Got caught out with th...
