Re: Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne on E Cars

Well, Ferrari believes a pseudo-manly image caters to their target market. Because men are neanderthals who need a lot of loud screaming noise, destruction of nature, and that's the kind of man who'll want a Ferrari racing car, apparently. I've been a Ferrari follower since I saw a poster of their ...

At this point, it's already far too late to get an indy PU manufacturer (;)) in the mix to supply units for 2017. Re: Verstappen to Red Bull, Ricciardo to Ferrari?

I think the better bet would be RoGro going to Ferrari before Ricciardo for a few reasons… First, Ricciardo seems to be the better driver at RBR and he is still pretty young. Second, Grosjean is is a VERY good driver and is currently driving for a Ferrari backed team. Third, Ferrari do not want 2 dr...

I think Vettel lacks spacial awareness. We've seen this in the past with incidents vs Webber in Turkey 2010, Kubica in Spa 2010 and Karthikeyan in Malaysia 2012. I remember with the Kubica incident he had a rant over the radio, claiming Kubica forced him onto the grass (of course, no such thing hap...

In all actuality, Williams' issues stem from a few of their principals, that at one time worked but as time has passed their way of thinking exceeded its shelf life, and is what caused their downward spiral. The main one being Frank & Patrick's ideology that Drivers don't merit tons of money which i...

Vettel's camera reveals to me more than Kvyat's. It appears like that he was "scissored" in by the two cars closing from the left and the right, and that the only available option to him in order to not have any contact was to brake hard (which he did not, and then quite likely Kimi and Kvyat would...

I disagree with this. But isn't it possible Rosberg overcooked it to ensure Hamilton couldn't get around going into turn one and then found himself a bit too far inside for the speed he was carrying and in order to maintain the line he braked a tad harder than if he'd been on the prime line? Agreed 100%. I think however, what would've made them sit fine with the masses is a spine tingling sound. While their tone is awesome, their lack of decibels makes them too placid and tame for F1. The gap was there and, from the overheads, it simply looked like two cars aiming for the same piece of tarmac. In other words, racing incident. Racing 101: If a car defends the inside and thus is on the inside line going into the corner, that car cannot be as fast at the apex because a car taking the correct racing line and approaching from the outside-in will carry more speed into that same corner.
