Re: Mercedes v Ferrari v Red Bull - 2018 edition
What do people expect the order to be in Baku?
Obviously expecting Red Bull not to be as close due to the Renault engine. Ferrari and Mercedes seemed to be pretty evenly matched in the speed traps yesterday, not sure about today.

Just because Bottas jumped Sainz doesn't necessarily mean they knew the advantage of pitting under VSC. They could have got lucky with Bottas like Vettel did.AstoriaisBACK wrote: 2. Bottas used the same VSC in pit speed to jump Sainz so MB knew the advantage do not blame a computer

That’s not true either, if Hamilton had maintained 2nd in China and the Brazil result was the same then Hamilton would have won the title by 7 points or 9 points if Ferrari didn’t switch. If Hamilton did win it too, I am sure we would have more people saying he only won it because of Kimi’s reliabi...

As long as Vettel gets past Bottas, he will still be P2, so no loss. Better than running out of tyres and going off the cliff, if Vettel felt that. Actually, Vettel loses points to Hamilton if he comes in P2. Which would have happened if he hadn't pitted anyway. Think it was worth the gamble to try...

Toto Wolff said that Hamilton could have suffered a suspension failure from his lock up on the first lap and that they'd have pitted him had it not been a crucial race in the WDC.
