Does Brendan Hartley REALLY DESERVE a 30 place grid drop?

I mean cmon, it's his first race. It's like playing Monopoly the first time with your younger brother and giving him less money and rubbish property deals at the start. Completely unsporting and brainless attitude from the FIA. Make debutants exempt from penalties regardless of the engine swaps etc....

Ferrari 2008 vs Ferrari 2017 which was the bigger screw up?

One year Massa had his championship taken away in the space of a lap / corner / home straight in Brazil and for want of his Singapore win thrown away for the sake of an un-detached fuel hose in one of the most the most bonkers comical scenes in F1 history. This year we have had Sebastian Vettel and ...

I put Brazil. The reason being Ferrari just need to beat Lewis once although Lewis is favourite going to Austin. Lewis has had such a good run lately this half of the season and won all the Austin races iirc, his form and luck has to end at some point. I also think Ferrari are going to run very aggr...

Mercedes will continue to dominate until the engine psu regulations are simplified to make the sport cheaper. Mercedes have the most resources and best engine designers. Only someone like Porsche or Audi could compete.

Only thing conceivably that can stop LH winning the title now are incidents or unreliability.

How long and where will he be crowned Champ? He could even be WDC next race if he does well and Vettel has a bad result.

Re: 2017 Japanese Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thre

The reason I say Vettel to get pole is because Vettel will set up the car to try and get pole and bank on Ferrari's race pace to stay first through the race. LH on the otherhand is probably going to go for a conservative qualifying as he doesn't need to attack so much. However I think this is a Merc...

In my opinion Vettel deserves a grid drop for the next race. Vettel cut too hard into his blind spot too quickly. I think Vettel will get similar punishment to what Grosjean had. 2 race ban iirc. Might get away with 1 race ban or back of the grid penalty if he can make a successful argument. Other possibility is suspended DSQ from the championship if another serious incident occurs like Schumacher in Jerez 97. ...

If it's intentional then it should have been a black flag and race ban, possibly DSQ from the championship if was likely to bring the sport into disrepute. They want to sell more Hondas and McLarens in the crucial US market so I am not surprised they are entering Indycar. Maybe Ferrari will follow them if they see McLaren taking more marketshare.
