Re: Red Bull insiders: Alonso is faster than Kimi by some ma

We don't know that until the situation arises. Kimi isn't Massa. Kimi is Kimi and he doesn't do team orders. Except he did, in china 2008. Why do u have this idea that Kimi is above the team and can do what he wants? I don't. But the fact Ferrari have even signed him again shows they admit they mad...

Re: Red Bull insiders: Alonso is faster than Kimi by some ma

The Third Tenor, Ferrari haven't even been close to the WCC since 2008. In 2009 yes they had a bad car but in 2010 and 2012 they had an under performing number 2 driver in Massa. In 2012 in particular if they had a stronger back up for Alonso both they could have won the WCC and Alonso could have w...

Re: Red Bull insiders: Alonso is faster than Kimi by some ma

What happened to the Alonso fans who said Massa has only ever moved over when he's been completly out of WDC contention? If Massa had won in Germany he'd only have been a win behind Alonso in the title standings, he'd have been nearer Alonso than Alonso was to Hamilton! Ferrari took Massa's chances...

Re: Alonso's recent erratic behavior. Kimi should avoid Ferr

Can't blame Alonso. Even Schumi was afraid of Kimi! Yeah, right  ! If he wasn't afraid of a confrontation with the driver many considered the fastest man in F1, why didn't he stay at Ferrari? Nobody forced him out. Logically speaking, if Montezemolo said in 2008 that it wouldn't make sense to ...

Re: Alonso's recent erratic behavior. Kimi should avoid Ferr

Ferrari are putting their eggs in two baskets this time, either driver has strengths and weaknesses. But for the record, when Alonso was close to winning the title, he has come up short. When Raikkonen was in a position to go after the title, he won it. What horse would you bet on going down the ho...

Re: Red Bull insiders: Alonso is faster than Kimi by some ma

So if Kimi does beat Alonso next seasons wonder how long it'll be before Alonso kicks off a la 2007. We all know he doesn't like it when his team mate gets close to him, never mind beats him. Kimi is the type not to rise to words either. I think Alonso is in for a little bit of a shock and perhaps ...

Forget Redbull insiders, if alonso himself knows that he is faster than kimi by some margin, he would not be so agitated by kimi's arrival at ferrari like he has been the last few days. I hope he goes to another team where he can salvage his reputation by proving he is still as good as ever and was unfairly judged and bashed over the last 4 years by people who failed to understand or accept how good his team mate is, and how average his cars have been . So what if Kimi gets slade. Andrea Stella is a 6 time race engineer champion. Wasn't he schumis race engineer and then Kimis in 07? So Fernando can not complain really. That's all conjecture. Ferrari have never in the past let a driver bring his favourite race engineer with him. Didn't Schumacher build the team he wanted around him? he didn't pick his own race engineer. No he did much more than that. No such thing. No drivers really want either oversteer or understeer, they want a perfect balance, and each driver has their own set of engineers so they can always set the car to each preference, its just standard. So which is it; Everyone has the same demands or own set of preferences? the 2 are ...
