Re: Drivers' Worst Circuits?
In terms of results, USA's Indy street circuit is Alonso's worst track, worse than Canada. In Canada he won in 2006 and should have won in 2005 too but he made a tiny mistake (kissed a wall) and that made him retire, plus the magnificent performance in 2003 with an inferior car, 4seconds off the rac...

Re: Stoffel Vandoorne
Not wanting to defend Vandoorne, but Alonso has always been a very agressive driver, and with the new regulations Alonso has "unleashed all his fury" and he can push all the way, something that he couldn't do with the slimmer more delicate tires. So the difference between him and his team mate (no m...

Re: Indy 500 2017
Not trying to stick up for either series here, but iirc Senna's chassis survived intact and was not the reason for his death, so the safety advancements in f1 are not relates to structural integrity of the car (although they are obviously heavily tested. And Zinardi's crash was also nothing similar...

Almost??? I am not at all sure that an F1 car could have handled that impact, it is built for different requirements. Not trying to put F1 cars down, only pointing out that Indy cars have to be built with 230mph and close walls in mind, F1 not so much. F1 would've handled it well (remember Kubica c...

Has there been any other case like Kevin Magnussen??

Verstappen was their first choice above carlos Doesn't mean a thing if they get a fair chance on track. Which they did, both received TO's to their advantage. They both had ups and downs in 2015 season, and looking at the results, they were much closer than the points standings suggest. What you sa...

Re: Talented drivers who didn't impress initially?
Lewis had far more car problems than Nico last year, but i doubt many would call him the de facto #2. I don't think that's a reason to identify driver favouritism, is what I'm saying For people who followed both of them closely its strange to say the least, that almost all the bad things happened t...

for me Sainz has impressed, I think RBR could of taken either and they both would of succeeded. Max is a step above in overtaking on Carlos but Carlos isn't sloppy either. I dont think Alonso will gain much with this move. From a midfield underpowered car to another a midfield underpowered car. You are being far too generous calling the McLaren a midfield car. I see many people voting for Hamilton.
I dont think he deserves the DOTD for one reason: he was helped by Bottas, slowing Vettel down a good amount and that probably was the key for his win
