Re: Unarguably the best driver on the grid
so now we are up to twelve pages on an "unarguable" title. Must be a lot of love being shared since it is not arguable. ;) Eh, even as a Vettel fan I thought the title was stretching it. Unarguably in the OP's mind, probably. Don't ask me who the best is as I won't be able to give the answer. Neith...

Re: Vettel- "Hamilton-Rosberg best F1 duo"
It's a fair statement. At the start of the season, I argued the only two driver pairings that could match Hamilton/Rosberg were Vettel/Webber and possibly Alonso/Massa. The latter relied heavily on Massa driving closer to how he finished out 2012, rather than reverting back to his early season form...

Re: Vettel- "Hamilton-Rosberg best F1 duo"
Agree.
Alonso is 2 ranks above Massa, Raikkonen is 1.5 ranks above Grossjean, and Vettel is 1 rank above Webber.
Hamilton-Rosberg are almost equal, or maybe Hamilton is only 0.25 rank higher at most.
These are all my opinions only.

Vettel never gets any credit. What do you mean Vettel never gets any credit? everyone rates him as one of the top 3/4 drivers on the grid Vettel never gets any credit. Vettel gets credit, he's recognised as being at worst, in the top 4 drivers on the grid. You're right. But maybe these are what Tur...

Re: Unarguably the best driver on the grid
Agree. Most Hammy and Alonso fans are just jealous of Vettel and bad losers. Like I said before, Vettel and RedBull dominance came as a shock for most people and they are still having a hard time coping with reality. Post traumatic stress after the Schumacher era. I can't say I agree with that opin...

Re: Do RBR even have what it takes to field two WDCs?
In four 1-2's for RBR during the 2010 season Webber lead one of them taking points off Vettel. In the other three Seb was first so Mark was taking points off Alonso. There were a couple of other races where Mark was a spot or two behind Vettel but still ahead of Fernando, so still taking points off...

Re: Sport-Bild claims Ricciardo heading for Red Bull in 2014
I agree, if he doesn’t prove himself against Vettel by beating him initially then he most likely will become a number 2 once he is realistically out of contention for the title. I just dont think Red Bull will make him a number 2 from the outset , I think they will give him a good enough chance to ...

Re: Do RBR even have what it takes to field two WDCs?
RBR pump more money into the sport than any other team so of course they can run two reliable cars. However, it makes no sense for them to do so because the second car will cost the first car the WDC . They are winning the WCC yearly regardless. Let's remember Vettel won 2 of his 3 championships by...

A lot of people forget Mark was the lead Red Bull driver at the half-way point in 2012 and was only eight points behind exiting the thirteenth round. He'd by no means been blown out of the water by that point and Sebastian only stretched his advantage when Red Bull really locked the car into his li...

Red bull got 33/38 poles in 2010 and 2011. Car was a beast in qualifying. In the hands off Vettel, it isn't that easy that it suits every other driver, look at Lewis in the start of this year Before they changed brakes and had the tires replaced, look at Kimi in 2008 when the Ferrari didn't suit hi...

Only if Vettel retires, there's no way RBR would have him challenge . Expect more fuel bowsers, multi 21s , KERS and loose wheels if Mark looks quicker. Look at the two parts I have underlined. Multi 21 is (or was, as apparently they no longer use multi 21 or multi 12) the team telling Vettel not t...

The question is, which team Raikkonen will choose? Lotus is looking stronger than ever and next year all developments will be reset, he's guaranteed as the lead driver by the principal, the team is built around him, he's also paid well. If I were him, I wouldn't leave Lotus.

A better reasoning for Red Bull using TC would be that Webber's starts haven't been absolutely diabolical in the last handful of races, not skidmarks being left from a driver exiting a tight corner off-line. How can we possibly measure it? The only way is to sit in the grandstand and count the time lapsed between the live race and the race we see on TV, especially when a car is passing the start/finish line.
