Re: 'Alert! The Ferrari 2015 seems slow'
About the same time last year, a rumor spread about the Ferrari engine being down on 100 horsepower little did we know... I remember that and I thought what bullsh1t how could Mercedes possibly pull that much more from the same regs, I almost laughed it off, I worked on racing engines for most of m...

Re: Jules Bianchi Update Thread [Split Thread]
What amazes me is why did the race go ahead when the helicopter couldn't be used?
This could and should have been avoided they race ran even though they knew about the weather days ago, they could have run the race earlier to keep more daylight etc etc.
I just hope Jules makes a 100% recovery ASAP.

azeem, you hit the nail on the head. He's a fast driver and can get the car round the track, but his racecraft and overtaking are limited. I never thought he'd be WDC as ultimately others would make up positions when he could not. However, due to his car this season at has often just been a case of...

It should be noted these are FOM figures. I might be wrong but I think Damon Hills record of wins to races ratio was the highest ever until he left Williams and in all the time he was at Williams he did have a team mate he had to beat, he should have been a 2x WDC but nothing was done when Mr Schumacher hit him in Austrailia.

With the introduction of DRS high degradation tyres are almost not needed, but with that said we don't want to see drivers doing a whole race on one set of tyres. What would be ideal from my point of view is a set of primes that last 75% race distance if the driver is conserving heavily, and 40% or...
