Re: Why did McLaren picked up Montoya instead of Jaques?

The way I see it was that Jacques, after winning his WDC, decided to go for the money & Williams have never been known for being big payers hence Jacques joining BAR. And, I have to say, after religiously watching Indy Car at the time, I also think that JPM was the better driver &, if Williams had m...

I think Alonso is saying "Where's the qualifying pace in my reliable old Ferrari?" I like it. It certainly must have crossed his mind :D But as Blake said, this current point system was brought in for a particular reason, fair or not, & I was peed off at the time but I also agree that winning...

I am not surprised by the first two on the list. Raikonnen should have won with Mclaren... I think it was 2002? Does anyone really care what Flavio has to say these days? Schumie is a 7 times WDC who understands totally about drivers not interferring with the hunt for the Championship. Since I can remember, drivers in slower cars have been making it reasonably easy for Championship contenders to pass them in ...

I've just realised what a sea change next year will represent in terms of driver eras and ages. With Rubens, Trulli et al quietly departing in the last couple of years, and dlR and Schumi now gone too, isn't Button going to be the most experienced F1 driver on the grid? I have a habit of forgetting...

Jenson, to me, has always had a great sense of humour & I think that he probably said this with tongue firmly in cheek. I would have to see the live interview to see what questions were asked & what his answers were without journalistic licence to think he meant otherwise.

Now, one more thing: what if it had been a yellow sector? My question was sincere: what are the rules when people lift or brake? What a ridiculous idea. Alonso is far from a legend. In fact I would argue that Massa is as good if not better than Alonso.
