If they can be astronauts, work in the military and so on, I'm sure driving an F1 car is nothing in comparison. Sometimes, we F1 fans think of drivers as demigods who risk their lives every weekend. I always said he wasnt a good driver. Ive always thought he is a rear of the grid driver. He managed three podiums last year in only his second full season when he was only 22. He's better than you claim. Much better. Besides if he wasn't a good driver he wouldn't be in F1 at all. As for his strugg...

Starting from the pitlane. Can teams time it better?

As far as I can tell, teams should send their car out so that it just makes it as the light at the end of the pitlane turns green. Otherwise, the car loses tyre and brake temperature as it stands there waiting. Today, Webber was already at the end of the pitlane before the last cars had lined up. Su...

I would think so too. Mainly, Vettel uses the softs when the car is lighter so they'll last better.

The one thing I can think would help the others is an early SC. That would really ruin it for Vettel.

Should teams practice pitstops differently?

They usually have a bunch of guys pushing the car into place. That's probably much slower than a real F1 car coming in. Should they have some sort of conveyor belt type system to bring the car in at 100 kph and braking to stop just before the front jack instead? Wouldn't this be better practice for ...

McLaren. As far as I'm concerned they're a true racer's team.
